Was thinking the same thing, some quick homework shows a few reasons why. 1) Injuries are looming large on both teams, but more notably on Miami. 2) Miami lost to Kansas St. a couple weeks ago, VT has only lost against a Clemson team playing out of their minds. 3) Hard to play @ VTech.
I haven't looked at enough to really give a full opinion one way or another, but this one seems scary to me initially.
I'm not saying that VT has been that impressive, but what has Miami done this year? Lost to a poor Maryland team in week one. Beat a horrible Ohio State team in Miami and then lost to K-State at home. I'm sure no one actually saw last weeks Bethune-Cookman game, but Miami looked horrible after 2 quarters and should have been down 14-0 to start the game. Do not let the final score fool you. The 'canes can't stop the spread option and with LB Buchanan out for the season, it isn't going to get better. If this dips below -7, I will be all over the Hokies at home.
