I was standing in Five Guys Burgers with my toddler son yesterday waiting to order and was looking around at the other patrons in the place.... I counted 4 concealed carries and 3 open carries in hip holsters that I could see, not including mine. The black lady in front of me with her husband was open carrying as well as the probably 70 year old Asian guy.....now answer me this, who in their right mind is going to start shit in there?
Not saying this is the end all for everything but it sure does make people mind their manners a bit more. Is it going to stop the crazy penetrate out there that is going to do something stupid regardless? No. Would I rather be in a setting like that than one with a bunch of sheep? Absolutely
Don't think that groups like ISIS and Al Queda aren't watching this, and contemplating a plan on how to eventually bring some of these thugs into their fold. They already have the want to do this this stuff, they just need a cause to continue doing it now.

The only difference between concealed and open carry is that the actual firearm is visible. Mine is "concealed" in a holster under a t-shirt. Can you tell I have a gun, most definitely, do I need a permit to tuck it under my shirt and make it "concealed", yup. The lady I'm front of me was open carrying because her 9mm was visible above her tucked in shirt while mine was concealed as my shirt covered it

that sounds like pseudo-concealed. are you allowed to go 'full' concealed by either wearing a jacket over your shirt or just carrying your gun in a backpack or purse?

Absolutely.....my point is there may have been many more there that had firearms I couldn't see. Concealed just means you can't see the actual firearm itself, not wether or not you can infer that one is there

do more people prefer concealed or open carry? it seems like with open carry you're risking someone just grabbing your gun and using it on you. then again concealed doesn't sound too comfortable if it's on your person.. the holster must rub your skin raw?
Just make sure they wash it before you "lick it good".
