Malisse really blew this crap for the parlay. He was up 5-4 and serving for the 1st set and choked. Down a break in the 2nd. Looking like a loozah.

      [ORLEANS] MAHUT -110
Will give Mahut another whirl today against Mannarino. Mannarino is very capable on this surface as he showed in Belgium a couple weeks back. Still, this court and tournament seem to suit Mahut perhaps even more with a superb record on this court. He'll need to play better than his opener, but if he can get his serve in at a better clip, he should have a shot. Mannarino did beat him on an indoor hard court earlier this year in three.

          [SANTIAGO] SOUZA -140
Down at the Challenger level, it's Joao Souza against Paolo Lorenzi. Souza has been in solid form with two finals appearances in his last three clay Challengers. He worked through his opener here, but will need some improvement. Lorenzi meanwhile has been nursing a wrist injury since August and has generally been in poor form regardless that has seen him fail to win back to back matches in nine of his last ten tournaments. Souza won their only previous meeting in April in Bogota in three sets.

Sorry. Gotta do what ya gotta do to play along and go with the trend. Since the parlay died, figured I'd go in reverse along with the factors that have come up this morning.

I think Mannarino or Mahut withdrew. They skipped over that match straight to Llodra-Ouanna.

Troicki 7-5 in third, was not sure about his match, but took him for 2,35 live 5-5 in 3rd set. Gratz Phan.

                            [CALABASAS] HARRISON -110
Harrison draws Reynolds and I continue to like the form Harrison has been in since his nice play at the US Open. He made the final in Tiburon last week and won easily in round one here. Reynolds has been decent of late, but not great. He's another Challenger check collector whereas Harrison is genuinely in this to improve his game and ranking I believe. Weather is finally good here. Harrison's key is getting that 1st serve in consistently. If he does, I think he can beat Reynolds on this outdoor surface.

Well I feel fortunate since I had Tsonga with the parlay first, but sometimes re-thinking things works out for you!

Souza just cashed in straights 6-4, 6-4.

Harrison wins in straights 7-6, 6-4. Was a great choke by Reynolds in the 1st set, up 6-1 in the tie break, he lost it 8-6.

                                      [KREMLIN CUP] ISTOMIN-KUNITSYN OVER 23.5 [-120]
The number indicates that books believe this to be a three set match in the making and I am inclined to agree. The one thing consistent about Istomin is his inconsistency. Kunitsyn has played well at this tournament in the past and is in good form this week, but he's also susceptible to being broken because he doesn't have the biggest serve. Istomin has been dominant in some sets this week, but has also fallen asleep long enough to drop a set in each match. I think that form could hold again and lead to another topsy turvy Istomin match.

Yeah I'm pretty iffy on most of the matches on Friday, so I am just starting with this one. Probably look at Challengers when there are more lines posted. I liked Nieminen and wanted to parlay him with something, but I honestly could not find another side I was 100% sold on for a decent price. Thought about Ivanovic, but Georges did play her tough last week ... still think Ana wins because she is in superb form right now. Don't know about that Diyas girl. Jankovic is just shit so I don't read a ton into that match. I disagree on Wawrinka. Not his best surface, but I could see maybe trying the handicap. Don't think the outright is worth it really. If Haase pushed him, Federer could destroy him if he's focused ... of course that is questionable. GL!

                                            [PARLAY] LJUBICIC + NIEMINEN [-101]
Playing this small because it was a gut play as soon as I saw the lines. Ljubicic draws Dodig, a fellow Croat. He does not possess a huge serve though like Ljubicic. I think if Old Man River has his A serve, he can win a tight one. Nieminen draws Blake who falls into the category I like to fade. Despite winning, Blake won less points than his opponent yesterday. He was pushed hard and he's had to work hard this week. If Nieminen gets his 1st serve in consistently, I think he'll push past Blake today.

Hi guys, today I am on:

Nieminen too - saw both his matches, very consistent from base, making no UE´s - Blake will be forced to play long rallies and make no mistakes...Odds 1,5
Chakvetadze - Anna proofed yesterday, that her win over Na Li was not suprise and she is capable of holding every serve. Dushevina played derby with Vesnina, won in straights too, but her 2-nd serve is terrible and this with motivation will be crucial today - odds 1,8.

                                              GL.

                                                [MOSCOW] CHAKVETADZE +103
Money is going toward Vesnina, but I'm going with the other Russian. Anna Chakvetadze has quietly really put herself into a nice groove this summer, bouncing back and forth from the ITF & WTA levels. She's managed a pair of lopsided wins this week despite a mediocre serve with double fault issues still. Anna does have some good numbers this summer on this indoor surface though with a 7-2 mark. Dushevina has a little bit stronger serve, but her form has been iffy this summer on hard surfaces. Couple that with the other factors that have shown their face and I'll take my shot here.

She's the better of the 2 players right now, IMHO.

                                                      [STOCKHOLM] BUTORAC-ROJER -105
This duo draws the Brazilians, Melo & Soares. These two teams met in Tokyo a few weeks back where Butorac & Rojer won a grinder in the super breaker, 12-10. The surface I think favors this duo who have better serves than their counterparts. This week, Butorac-Rojer have been broken just twice. Melo & Soares have been broken five of ten times they offered up breakers. Expecting another tight one, but Butorac-Rojer seem to be confident here.

Chaka-kan is done today. 1st serve winning a lot of points, but she can't get it in and is getting pounded on her 2nd serve.

Machado has been the in-form guy on the clay Challenger circuit, coming off a title last week. He's won twice this week, but is living on the edge with 20 break points offered up. He has saved 14 of them so far. Souza isn't far behind Machado, having made the final of the Asuncion Challenger last week. He's played well this week in his two matches, improving from his 1st to the 2nd. He's been cashing in his break opps, netting 8 of 18. If he gets the chances against Machado, he may be the guy to make the Portugese pay. Overall as I said the other day on Souza, his form looks better with two finals appearances in his last three tournaments. Machado had been decent this summer, but not great up until his title run last week.
