i dont think anybody has got paid in more than 6 months now. the last payment i got from them is april of this year, i beleive, that's when MARIA is still in charge of the office, and now I don't even know who the penetrate is in charge, and they don't even reply emails anymore, before, they would always reply back, i have prety much written off this money, i will be super happy if I see another dollar for what i was owe.

Well I'm glad I found the Sports Betting Forum today, but wish I had found it earlier. At least now I understand why I never received my money from WSEX. I requested the withdrawal in July 2012 and never received any replies from them to my emails asking when I should expect my money. In my phone calls to them, I was always told it would take another month. Too bad because I could really use the money I'm owed.

You obviously did it by finding a bet with little or no juice comparison to another site, matching up bets, and hoping wsex loses. It's a dangerous game though, as wsex could easily get to the point of being too high you're in an even deeper hole. No guarantees here.

I did not leave 68k on a sportsbook dumbass. I had about 15k years ago and was trying ot get it out but money was stuck so I played poker in poker room, spent hundreds of hours, ran the 15k into about 80k.

Unfortunately if you are from US, it is illigal for you to place online bets. If you have placed bets, it means you have broken the law. If you have broken the law, that makes you an outlaw. I think(I do not know for sure) all the bookies that accept US players, only accept them so they can steal their money, knowing that they can't take any legal action since by betting online, they are braking the law.

I am realy sorry for all those that were ripped off and all those that will be ripped off still, but you should realy not play at a bookie that alows US players. Hypothetical... if one is from US and wants to gamble online, he should find or make a realy good friend in a country that alows online betting and ask him to play for him at Pinny

It is not illegal to place a bet. Don't ever plan on becoming a lawyer. Since 1961, not a single person has been charged with placing a bet under this statute, because it is clearly for those in the business of wagering on a sporting event, hence, a bookmaker.

The Act dose not specify that it only reffers to those "owning" or "running" a business of betting. It reffers to "whoever being engaged in the business". I do belive(I might be wrong), that a "client" of a "business" is a person "engaged" in the given business.

I ask you... by placing a bet, are you or not in the position of being "engaged" with the business of betting?

I have read around the internet about court decisions and I have found that some courts share your view(that the Act only reffers to persons accepting bets), but some courts ruled that the Act applies to both parties involved in the business of betting.

I ask you this because I do not know... do you have a legal option for declaring your online betting revenues for the purpose of tax in US?
