Wonder if the Lakers regret taking Lonzo over Tatum. LOL!!

I love they got caught up in the hype and fell for that scammer.

Nothing better than a LA team fukking up.

Lonzo Ball was selected 2nd overall by the Los Angeles Lakers. Jayson Tatum was selected 3rd overall by the Boston Celtics. De'Aaron Fox was selected 5th overall by the Sacramento Kings. Lauri Markkanen was selected 7th overall by the Minnesota Timberwolves (traded to the Chicago Bulls)

Donovan Mitchell selected #13 by Nuggets.

But at least Lakers didn’t pick Fulkz selected #1. Don’t trust the process.

Ha! Lonzo! Might as well took Lavar.

The last smart move the Lakers ever made was trading for Kobe Bryant. They are mostly a dumb franchise with geography to attract players.

They ultimately turned Lonzo into Anthony Davis which you could argue is more impressive than getting lucky on a draft pick.

You’re not wrong. Last year they passed on Jacquez who was a few miles away at UCLA for hood schifino. One made all rookie first team they other averaged like 2 points a game.

    Brandon Ingram
    Julius Randle
    Lonzo Ball
    Kyle Kuzma
    Josh Hart
    Ivica Zubac
    Alex Caruso
    Jordan Clarkson
    Larry Nance Jr

All of these guys played on the same Lakers team, pre-Lebron. Might have had a better chance by just standing pat, and adding some free agents with strong work ethics like the Rockets did this year

FTR I don't like LeBron and hope by some miracle he departs in FA. However, none of those guys are winning shit and the Lakers have a ring since those guys got traded or left in FA. The only 2 I would have liked to keep are Caruso and Hart.

the biggest regret in NBA history has to be in the 1984 draft,

the Portland Trail Gangsters picked Sam Bowie at #2.

    #3? chicago picked Michael.

at least Houston at #1 go two rings out of Hakeem.

All Portland got was two broken legs from Sam.

Plenty of whiffs in the draft. Greg Oden comes to mind.

He was a monster in college.

That player on the Nets who is clearly tanking. Clearly could give AF about playing, Ben Simmons.

Even worse, the Sixers gave up an extra #1 pick just to go from 3 to 1. They could have sat tight and still got Fultz. Boston wasn't taking him and Ball was a lock to go to LA.
