I have no interest either way. I was curious with the long Denver layoff.... and Boston having to grind it out... and have no rest. Who would be the favorite? Everyone talks about Boston struggles. I wonder if rest would have anything to do with price?

Yes Boston has a better record... deeper Bench IMO.... but they are a #2 seed. Denver is a #1 seed. People grade oddly at times. It just would be interesting to see who Vegas makes the favorite in this one.

I think it would be factored but it's tough to put a mathematical value on it.

It probably affects game 1 more than anything... After that it just becomes two teams battling for the chip.

Boston's been exposed a little bit but if they come back to win, they'd be favoured just on their home court alone. I don't think rest factors in too much since they get plenty of rest between games anyway

There's no doubt Boston is the team that can do it. Vegas... regulated casinos is a business.... how much money would they lose if they allowed Boston to win the series? Vegas sitting on a goldmine at the moment. Not to many people wagered Miami to win the series. Furthermore, do you think Vegas wants to payout all the series wagers when Boston was +680 or so? There's a lot of theories that cross my mind when it comes to this.

Out of the 150 teams who went down 0-3 never to come back, I'll guess 10-15% were the higher seeded team who started 0-2 at home, so games 5 and 7 are at their crib. Boston is likely one of the most talented teams in history to go down 0-3. Plus, they just made the finals LY. how many of those 150 teams fit this profile ?

They clearly play much better w their backs against the wall (see Sixers gm 6 and 7 and heat g4) so all I can say is that if there was ever a team to come back from 0-3, this here is it.
