Whats the deal with the UFC not signing Matt Lindland? Is Lindland still messing around in the IFL as a coach? The UFC needs Lindland if they want to make any more money off the Middle Weight division as Anderson Silva has killed everyone they currently have. They could (and should) pull Paulo Filho up from the WEC or could go with a Yushin Okami rematch but that wont draw since Okami got beat by Franklin a few fights back. I believe Jake Shields is under contract now with ElitePro XC so they could not bring him in. Shit Lindland seems to be the only REAL fighter out there that would have a chance (and a GREAT chance) at giving Anderson Silva a real fight.

I got a feeling though that they will try and throw some more of the TUF fighters in there to be killed next. Shit the UFC should send Evan Tanner into rehab and bring him in, ANYONE damnit!

they got rid of lindland cause at the time he was winning ugly boring fights via wrestling people to death and the UFC did not want him to beat rich franklin who was more exciting so they terminated his contract because he wore a sportsbook tshirt at a press conference and was not supposed to (BS reason as many fighters did it in the past). franklin got the title and did not have to worry about lindland.

all the hardcore fans knew what the real reason was

lindland has since gotten a little more exciting although still not a main event guy

and he probably still would beat franklin

lindland has since gotten decent paydays as a free agent and won't be lowballed by the UFC who is known to lowball people

and apparently filho and silva are friends so they won't be in any hurry to fight each other....filho would probably win

Dan Henderson needs to fight anderson in a unifacation bout. I dont like anderson's chances in that one.
