Bitcoin ATH - Point Payouts
Setting up this thread for if/when it happens. A few basic rules:
1) Have to be an SBR Pro to receive points.
2) Recipient will be someone I deem to be worthy, based on his forum contributions.
3) Payout stream will start at 690, 700, 710 etc. Pro-rata to the new ATH of 69k, 70k, 71k etc.
Will do that til we touch 80k. Then I'll see how my points look. Good Luck.

There it is. 69,000 has been touched. But not creased yet.
Now, it's creased. Will pay out Raiders later today.

One observation in the forum = the quick reversals after BTC pierces the ATH. That tells me two things:

1) The reality is that people have bills due, including upcoming taxes. Stock-traders get used to placing Sell Orders above ATHs. Some of that going on.
2) The Bitcoin maxi's would call those Weak Hands. Hey, people have to eat, too.
Just consider that trend in your investment strategy. Looks like the rebounds have been very strong off mini-dips of 6%+.
Two additional Bonuses I'll offer up to Opti. We'll see if he can pull off some magic:

One observation: *This re-tracement off the new ATH seems to be a pattern.
As humans, I'm sure we believe in patterns when it's often just random volatility. But in this case, I think there's some fact behind it:
1) BTC is surely trending up.
2) In particular, it's trending up in this window where Demand is rising and Supply is shrinking.
3) All that said, people may view BTC like a stock. Selling off ATH to pay bills is reasonable.
Been noticing that as well...it touches or just crosses ATH then goes right back down. It will break through soon enough.
With new ATHs now the effect wont be as strong as it was around the old ATH, as less people will be selling the same key numbers now.
Think you're right, Opti. I'm probably over-thinking it.
That said, there are oscillations. I'm loving the rebounds off the 6% dips.
