weekly results (Monday through Sunday)

I say it was a nice and profitable week... lets do the same this week again...

someone asked about the BB record, last week it was (dont play games over -175, no other filters apply) 9-7 +.1 units
if we played the RL (-1.5 fav) or ML (dogs) the result would be...all games played (even over -180 but under -200)...11-8....+6.3 units... goal is to get +money most of the time... only for one game we would have to lay money on the RL the past week...

Those of you playing the BB's, are you playing them blindly or using something else in combination with the BB's to cap the games? Also I thought the limit was anything over -145, not -175? The RL twist looks interesting, how far back data do you have for that peter?

you can backtrack it on your own using their software for the whole year (start may 15th)... I only have it for the last week... of course you cant play the BB blindly... just use the same filters like I do with the PR and thats a start... only that -175 is the limit... btw anything over -150 I play the RL most of the time...

overall record for the PR is 113-133 +4.05 units
last 14 days is 52-47 +16.35 units... so right now its killing the books...
filtered system is 21-12 +13.9 units so far...

just some nice stats...

Lets not forget sportrends BB plays since 5/15. If you applied the streak filters you should be up over 25 units and over 63% for the season. Ill summarize all the plays, lines and units at the end of the season in an excel spreadsheet.

Peter it seems unfiltered plays went 5-3 + 3.25 units. But anyway it was a nice winning day for BB and PT as well.

Peter, I believe it was 2 weeks ago when sportrends revamped their PR system and since then it has been on fire.

NYY was not a play... line way too high...thats why it was 4-3...

the new system was put in place June 18th according to my notes... record since that day is...51-44 +17.98 units... yeah BB went 3-1 ... but I didnt play SF, bc I just couldnt believe they would win 3 in a row against the Cards at home...

anyway...seems like all 3 systems that I follow on a daily basis (PR, run, BB) are doing pretty well right now...

Sorry if this has been mentioned before but has anyone considered playing 5 innings instead of full game? With a system that relies heavily on the starting pitcher I'd think that playing 5 innings would smarter.

Take Baltimore yesterday, for example.

PR has to be 20 points lower compared to the other pitcher...

filters:
no play over -130
no play on teams 2L or more
dont play against teams 2W or more
no play when overall record under .450

thats what I am using right now... thinking about changing the last one...maybe something like last 10 or 20 games only...

I never use the the overall record under .450 and sometimes I take teams on streaks with 4 or more losses. I call this the danger zone where these teams can turn around real quick. Again when doing so your handicapping skills must all point to that team. But presently these are the filters in place unless someone can give us better idea with better results.

we dont post BB bc they are software picks... just buy it for 50 bucks or so... it would not be fair towards sportrends to post the plays here... I post the free plays (PR and run system)

BB RL is showing good results so far, I'm up 7.93 units since the 29th compared to the 2.88 units that ML bets would have gotten me.
Any other ways to increse profits with Fastball?
