Runline Chase: play the biggest favorite on the board daily, on the runline and continue to play them for 6 days or until a Win is achieved. Once a win is achieved the Chase is over and a new one starts the next day, so only one play per day here. In other words, the biggest favorite on the board must win by 2 or more runs, once every 6 days.

Everyone kind of does their own thing. Some play the big favorite in the game with the higher total, assuming a lot of runs plays to the side of the favorite. Others play the higher game-time favorite, assuming that, after bettors have had a chance to handicap the game and more people jump on one side, that's a good sign, too.

But, to answer your question, there apparently was no indication in the original model that addresses this specific situation. Just like some don't like to force a play when there's a very small number of games to choose from, or when the biggest opening favorite of the day becomes a mediocre favorite after announced change of starting pitchers.

Looks like this is the situation we face on Wednesday, where I see opening numbers of Boston -171, Arizona -171 and Houston -170.
