The first major of the year begins in a matter of days, and we're looking at Tiger Woods' Masters odds as they continue to move across our best golf betting sites.

Tiger Woods last won the Masters in 2019 in what was one of the most memorable editions of the tournament. Movement in his 2024 Masters odds across our best sports betting sites would suggest a growing belief he may return to contention.

Despite withdrawing from last year's tournament due to injury and playing just one competitive round since, Tiger's odds of winning a record-tying sixth green jacket shortened a week ahead of the 2024 Masters.

While he's still a massive long shot and not necessarily recommended for your Masters picks, we're looking at all you need to know about Tiger Woods' Masters odds for 2024.

What are the odds Tiger Woods wins the Masters?

Odds as of April 10.

Tiger opened with consensus Masters odds around +10000 in the immediate aftermath of the 2023 tournament. Those odds peaked as high as +16000 amid a lengthy break from competitive play and following his withdrawal from this year's Genesis Invitational due to illness.

FanDuel offers the outlier market-best odds of +15000 as of Wednesday morning. FanDuel notably shortened Woods' odds considerably to +7500 Friday morning, but those lengthened again to +12000 as of Sunday afternoon and to +15000 by Monday morning.

The drop from +16000 to +7500 was a modest change of 0.62% to 1.32% in implied probability. But a winning $10 long-shot bet would return a profit of $750 vs. the $1,600 it would've fetched early in the week.

A $10 bet on the +15000 odds would return a profit of $1,500 with a win.

Tiger Woods Masters top finish

The top finish markets are particularly weird for Tiger this week and really emphasize the importance of shopping around for the best odds. While DraftKings is hanging the market-best price of +170 for a top 30 finish, the +120 from FanDuel for a top 40 result is a much better value - and more likely to hit.

Best Tiger Woods Masters pick

I toyed long and hard over Tiger to finish in the top 40 (+120 via FanDuel) and to be in the top 20 after Round 1 (+250 via bet365). But even money to make the cut is still plenty of value and eliminates concerns over the injury and health issues that have plagued Tiger's tournament appearances over the last couple of years.

Many will forget that Tiger made the cut in the 2023 Masters at 3-over par before withdrawing midway through his third round due to injury. Though he's played the event just six times since 2013 - including his 2019 win - he didn't miss a cut in any of those appearances.

Augusta National and the Masters still bring out Tiger's absolute best, and we'll back him to make it to Saturday once again. Reports from several golfers this week are that the course will play extremely tough. That'll certainly lend to Tiger's experience advantage.

Tiger Woods' Masters accomplishments

Masters wins

Woods has won the Masters five times, one fewer than the record six held by Jack Nicklaus.

Tiger's victories came in 1997, 2001, 2002, 2005, and 2019. He won the tournament in his second appearance as a professional (after being the low amateur in 1995).

Lowest Masters score

In 1997, Woods posted what was then the lowest 72-hole score ever at the Masters. He shot 270 over rounds en route to a 12-stroke victory at 18-under par. Dustin Johnson would best that mark in his 2020 Masters win.

Tiger's best 18-hole score at Augusta National is a 65.

Masters scoring average

Woods has a scoring average of 71.1 (0.9 strokes under par) across 96 rounds played in the Masters. That's the lowest average of anyone with at least 50 rounds played in the Masters.

Jon Rahm (70.5) and Jordan Spieth (70.66) both haver a better average, but in only 28 and 38 rounds, respectively.
