BTW, I have often found, that when a capper like yourself gets something wrong (like the over in the Gulbis match), it comes true in the next match. Not sure why, but I've seen it a lot on these forums.

Bangkok & Kuala Lumpur this week. Good fields at both. Time differences suck for USA types like myself. Should have previews tonight after I look the fields over more.Comment -

#2389Never fukkin mind on previews. My Word docs are flipping out and erased part of what I did. Don't have the want to ... to go back and do it again. A quick look, Bangkok looks tailor made for the top four seeds doing some damage. Simon normally would fall into that fade scenario coming off a title, but he has played well here quite a bit. Gasquet has the toughest quarter and would be the seed among the top four who might fall short of the semis. Raonic is the one I am watching this week. I think he can win here if motivated. Karlovic or Istomin could be a dark horse. Istomin should like the quicker conditions here vs. last week.
Kuala Lumpur, Wawrinka would look to have a pretty nice path, but this has not been a great surface for him. If he doesn't care, Baghdatis could scalp him in the 2nd round. Tursunov is also one to monitor in that quarter. Ferrer is interesting as the top seed. He has been a beast on this surface surprisingly. Certainly a soft quarter for him to move through as well. Melzer may float through his quarter which is also pretty cushy. Pospisil might be the one guy who could step up here, but he's still not a consistent performer. The Almagro quarter looks like it could go to anyone. Seems as if there is one surprise Finalist here each year. That could mean a high seed or a non-seed, just seems likely with this softer field that someone could sneak in that doesn't look like Finalist material to start the week.Comment -

#2392Made the Wimbledon Juniors Final this year. I don't know much about him, but I know Delbonis is a schlep on any other surface than clay from what he has shown. Even against a teenager, I'm not sure he wins easily ... or maybe wins at all. Chung probably has more motivation on his side being able to play a tour level match and I would imagine that some friends or family might be in attendance being in the Far East.Comment -

#2393I feel Chung could scalp ... Seems like he's comfortable on this surface from what I've read and seen. The same, as you pointed out, cannot be said for The Boner.
We can only hope Everybody Wang Chung Tonight has the onions to handle the big points.Comment -

#2404Meh, I'm picking a spot here and there that makes sense to me. I can't bet Venus Williams matches. With that syndrome she has, she is even more unreliable than most WTA broads as far as consistency. She could wake up and feel great for three straight months and then come out against the #1,004 player in the world and get double bageled because she has low energy. I think the odds are pretty accurate because Venus is playing well and could easily win, but Halep has been the more consistent player the latter part of this season. Still, she did not exactly play the cleanest of matches here so far in either round and had trouble against a gassed Pavlyuchenkova. I think if the level of play is equal to what has been seen so far, Venus would win.Comment -

#2412EP, you scared me enough on the Venus/Halep match that I made this hedge with some free play money with a college football game. Halep up one set and a break, 9 double faults for the match, it doesn't get much worse than that as far as choke jobs go. Meanwhile, all the Venus backers say, Venus had it all the way. What crap. So much luck involved in all of this. I hope this one hits:
