#672Anyone using Android having issues transferring from wallet to BitPay Card? I am stuck on the "Fetching paying information" screen and it will not convert the coins to cash to my card. E-mailed Bitpay, they stated they have not release the updated version on Android yet. Sounds kind of odd to me. So I guess only iOS users have the updated app already released?Comment -

#677Wish I could be more helpful. Just posting what's listed at Bitpay's website. Haven't tried it myself.Comment -

#678Just wanted to give the heads up....
Used the card with pin at Walmart for MO's last week. Today Bitpay called me for unusual transactions. I said to myself unusual? What are they calling me about the WM transactions for a week later? I guess someone attempted to use my Bitpay card in California 3 times. $85.00 charge... $12.00 charge... and $8.55 charge. I quickly told them it wasn't me.
Why is this so odd? I've only used the card at 2 stores. Walmart directly. And it's listed at Amazon.com was there a breach somewhere? I'm very precise in where I use this card.Comment -

So... either someone can tap into Walmart's networking.... at the terminal??? Or... someone can access Amazon.com cc info??? Which I haven't used the card at Amazon since April 2019. So... this is kind of amazing.Comment -

I called the number explained to them what happened. They said no problem. We will issue you another card... and there wouldn't be a fee. They said 7-10 business days.Comment -

#684I got hit a few years ago with a prepaid debit card I used on coinbase, Amazon, and a few sites like Domino's and subway...really only used it to get my paycheck deposited...someone ordered proactiv for $90.. I would have never known but I got a postcard in the mail thanking me for my order and it had an address in Washington that it was getting sent to...1000s of miles from where I live.
Then I got hit a few months ago with a debit card from a credit union that I only had for 6 months. I used the card on coinbase and Amazon as well as numerous other places. Someone tried to use it at a motorcycle shop in Missouri..I live in Louisiana but I did go to St. Louis twice for blues playoff games and I used the card at hotels, gas stations (pay inside not at pump), and a Walmart.
So I'm not sure how it was compromised.
This shit seems to be happening more and more these days.Comment -

#686What's the deal with when the card expires? Do they automatically send a new card in mail or do you have to order a new card and pay the fee again? My card expired today but I know I can't be the only one that's had this thing long enough to reach the expiry date.
Fwiw, I like this card but the company seems really unprofessional. I haven't got an email from them, a phone call, letter nothing! A reputable bank or cc co. either sends you a new card before the old one expires or at leasts emails, mails or calls you. I noticed on the website it said Mark Cuban owns this outfit. That explains it. He ran the Mavs into the ground too.Comment -

#687Anything is possible. I just realize this card doesn't even have a chip in it... like your typical bank deb cards. You could easily copy this number with the equipment out there. Whatever happened... it was way too easy. Way too simple.

#689See this is exactly what I mean about the company being unprofessional. Thanks for the info tho man. It sucks you're having so many problems with this company. The card itself is a great just the company seems really lackadaisical to me, almost like the employees there don't give a damn about anything. Has anybody found a better alternative or is this still the best btc card for Americans in 2019? Thanks.Comment -

#691Yes, it's available to Americans. They have different levels of card, depending on how much MCO crypto coin you stake, but staking is not required to get the lowest level card with the barest bones benefits. Everything is documented at their site. I'd suggest downloading their app and going from there.Comment -

Very happy with it thus far, and I just took the basic free card with 1%.
Those willing to stake a modest 500 MCO can get 3% cash back and free Netflix.Comment -

#693Yup, same here. I stumpled onto MCO after my Bitpay card expired and they never bothered to send me a new one, or even contact me.

#700Got a call last night from their fraud dept saying there was a suspicious charge at a department store that I certainly didn’t make. I have had my card in my possession never lost it and only have used at food places and atm. Now they have to shut off the card and send me a new one. Said the routing/acct number would remain the same. Can’t understand how someone would have gotten the number unless some big place was hacked.Comment
