    The mustang is a faster car with a bigger engine. Maybe it was made to absorb more..

    When they started importing it down here about 5 years ago it failed our local safety test ratings badly.

    Got a lower score then even most Chinese brands

    Don't get me wrong. I like them and Fords in general. But I find it tough to believe it's that much safer than any Kia or VW based on it's 2 star ANCAP rating
