Never fails in NFL after a bad game the team comes back and plays well.

49ers are better than they showed today

Saints had a bad game last week offensively. 14 pts. Should easily triple that against the 49ers.

Coaching mismatch. Singletary will be out of timeouts in the second quarter and out of challenges even earlier.

No he won't. He won't have communication problems at home. But I don't think the 9ers can put enough pressure on Brees, thus allowing that shoty at best defensive back field to get picked off play by play. And with all the pressure the Saints put on quarterbacks, this has the chance to become a rout. 27-17 Aints.

I hope Crabtree shows up for the Niners next week.....He looked like crap today and cost his team 2 touchdowns in the way of turnovers.

The game against Seattle was horrible to watch as a Niner fan.

On defense San Fran will be just fine. I think they can hold the Saints to about 21 pts or less. The question will be can they score about 24 pts themselves.

Down 28-6 midway through the 3rd quarter Singletary punted on 4th and 4 in Seattle territory. They gained a net of 20 yards down 3 scores. Very stupid move.

Go for it when you're ahead and in complete control instead of putting up 3. Punt when you're down 22 and there isn't much time left.

Niners landed in the bay area a few hours ago and Singletary called a mandatory team meeting at their practice facility. What good would that do? Nut cracker drills at 10 in the evening?

Was listening to game on radio and heard Crabtree ran a bad route resulting in a Smith interception for a Seattle TD. Also heard Crabtree botched another reception resulting in a Seattle interception eventually resulting in a Seattle TD.

That was the way I understood it.....I could be wrong.

If books though the niners would have a chance they would hAve made the opening line -3 for the saints. not saying SF cant win the game but i would stay away from this game except maybe the over.

I like the motivational angle. Saints off a win in big game versus Niners off a fiasco.

But not touching the NFL next week. There were so many dumb mistakes this opening week that I prefer to wait until the teams have greater chemistry. Matt Moore that throws two endzone interceptions in a row (cost me the 2H over), the Niners, the zebras that call back a clear TD in Chicago, the Cowboys who gave up a TD in the final second of the 1H, when they had no chance at a score and all they had to do was kneel. It just went on and on and on and on. This was some of the worst NFL football I can remember. Across the board. (and it will only get worse if they add two games and shorten preseason).

The tipped ball was a high pass by Smith, and the other was bad chemistry. Crabtree ran an out, Smith threw a hitch. They both had the right idea, just different ideas.
