Boom! There it is. I can live with the runs and lack of K's when I get the bonus for the frames. No one had him in their 12 teamer today to get through 6 frames so I get to rake in all of their doubts!

Ok so ever the one looking ahead when I want to make a move that is of a decent size for tomorrow so far I have blasted away on.

I made a slight mistake listing the Fathers instead of the OVER. No way will Darvish and Rodon be able to stop those offenses despite their pitching; and Darvish has horrid numbers vs the Bombers to begin with. The Bombers are knocking the core out of the ball right now. I had to put Darvish on ice and use the Bombers bats to replace him. He is giving them a .395 average and .967 OPS; .409 OBP. HE HAS NEVER GOTTEN JUAN SOTO OUT!

I am using Scott#11 (Metropolitans) for frames in a 12 teamer along with Burnes#1, and Lugo#5. You want guys that can give you those 6 frames to get paid. Doesn't hurt if they have a 3-1 K's to walk ratio in those 6 frames too for those bonuses.

I am praying like hell for Kutter Crawford to overcome his lukewarm numbers vs the Brewers because Bryce Wilson has better numbers actually vs the Red Sox but being a relief pitcher you WON'T get the frames you need and at most during his 4-5 innings he would give you around 3 K's. The Red Sox have a lot of momentum right now and bats have been nice! Devers is on FIRE!

Urena is a wildcard and is on less than 6% of the rosters for tomorrow-translated he has OODLES of value with a .246 average against vs the Twins lineup-and he has an elite offense that crushes Bailey Ober to the tune of a .452 average against with an OPS of 1.453 and slugging of .968 with only 3 k's and 2 BB and 4 dingers surrendered in (get this) 31 AT BATS! Holy smokes. So as to not alert the Commish I bought the Wanderers bats and put Ober on ice. Should Urena go the 6 frames I actually can make more money when the smoke clears on that one move than I can possibly lose if I go winless in this format tomorrow

Damn I got wiped out this morning! Yikes. This way of making baseball moves is much more difficult than fantasy league because if you know your stuff you can succeed easier. With this way those managerial decisions, relievers and entire team hitting and mental errors is shaky at times. Everyone is gonna end up with a .500 record or so at the end of the season no matter what. I have never seen anyone with higher than a 55% MLB betting record

Oh man heavy travel day tomorrow so I blasted away on as much as I could early!

There is too much speed on the base pads for the Fish and the Snakes to not go over.

Liberatore has about as many walks as he has K's vs the Cubs.

Pivetta is an auto start despite having tepid numbers vs the Brews (.348 avg and 1.030 OPS) so I kept him on roster and also purchased the Brews bats simultaneously.

The streamer pick of the day is Jose Soriano#15 who was electric numbers vs the Guardians; a .217 avg and .435 OPS compared to Bibee .275 avg and .750 OPS. I don't really like what Bibee is doing right now in this moment. I don't like his heater and he not been placing his secondaries well lately either. His tendencies could be minimized vs the Halos-but not with my money. Soriano is showing up on less than 10% of streaming rosters so you know what that means if he clears those 5+ frames for me. I stand to rake in everyone's cash.

Somewhere in the Nat's organization they know what I know-Never Trevor is overachieving and getting by with smoke and mirrors. I grabbed the Sailors bats and labeled him as a DNS despite his good looking record which again will be a pocket stuffer if he should not survive the 6th inning. Some idiots have him ranked in their top 10 for Saturday!

As for my studs I 12 teamed Nola#1 who is overvalued and will have to come up with 27 K's tomorrow to cash. I have Reese Olson at #19 vs Berrios#5 and both will stay on roster but not be played in this format.

I rolled with Jordan Hicks#9 as all he needs to do is throw strikes and the Metropolitans are beatable. Severino#18 is a gas can at times and I wish I had more faith in his arsenal but the ceiling doesn't seem high enough

Alright-I am guaranteed at the very least a 70% share for Urena going the 5 frames. If he can just get through the 6th then I can get it ALL! With Urena's pitch count at 95 is a bit of a concern and I may fall victim to one of those pesky managerial decisions...fingers crossed. He looks strong

In the event that the Cubs and Red Birds don't get underway this evening by all means keep Imanaga rostered at either at #1 or #2 at the least. He's a plug and play machine. This stud has 58 k's in 53.2 frames and no one has figured him out yet. A viable option is to take the OVER 7 frames to cut down a bit on his cost if you didn't draft him before the season began

Ah man! What a weekend. Time to drive back to Tampa however. there's a get together arranged for some of the boy sin my league tonight at the hard Rock Casino but I doubt that I will want to do anything but crash out on my couch when I get home.

Ok so I have Freddy Peralta#1 rostered and apparently he has been scratched. I will just have to take the hit and keep him there and absorb the cost without picking up any entire team bats today. I did pick up Thairo Estrada of the Giants OVER 1.5 bases +100. Against Walker he has faced him 6 times and gotten 4 hits a .667 avg; 714 OBP; 1.333 SLG and 2.048 OPS.

I was shocked to see the Giants FAVORED over the Blunts to be sure given their records and Snell having an 0-3 record with a 11.40 ERA. If that doesn't tell you that something is fishy nothing will

I actually only have a top 3 today that i am running with as auto starts and I found that the Giants have a huge pitching advantage with Snell at #12 and Walker at #15 a DNS. I saw that Snell is on less than 15% of rosters so if he can give me my 5 frames and a 3-1 K/W ration.

I stand to make some good 65%-70% return off of my $800 investment that I put up on Snell depending on who else may or may not pick him up throughout the day. If he goes 6 frames and no one else picks him up then I will have GOLD. The Blunts are only hitting .250 off of him with a line of 84 at bats and 30 k's and 21 hits- only 3 of which were dingers and he has faced Harper 9 times and struck him out 4 of those at bats. I also got some Whit Merrifield who is the problem in the Blunts lineup for Snell hitting .583 off of Snell with 7 hits in 12 at bats .615 OBP; 1.000 slugging and 1.615 OPS

What to bummer to have my streamer of the day go straight to hell as Snell didn't make it out of the 4th frame. Well the silver lining is that all of those who benefited only got back a handful of feathers as only a select few went in on Snell limiting their shares, I am back at it again today and my streamer POD is Brayan Bello who no one seemingly believes in except me LOL! I shortened my move a bit and scaled back my risk to $500 for this one-but with the bang on the buck I see a good opportunity for this investment should he give me that 5 frames and even better 6 frames as the entire universe is up against us! I can clear a profit for today even if the purchase orders for these straights in ordinary MLB betting go left somehow

Wilyer Abreu, Garrett Cooper and Rafael Devers all hit OVER .500 vs Grayson Rodriguez.

Rot.#963 Red Sox to Score 1st Inning +255

Next Brayan is only garnering 6% of the group believing that he will last through 5 frames, despite the Orioles hitting .220 off of him with 12 K's in 50 at bats and .304 OBP and .280 SLG and .584 OPS. I dig Brayan Bello even if it's the Orioles, his improved slider has helped him create a higher floor. though I need to see the changeup is in full force here today.

    Rot.#963 Red Sox+149 FULL GAME
    Rot.#963 Red Sox+140 FF

Because i rostered Grayson Rodriguez only today, I had to pick up a bat. I am going with Geoge Springer (Jays) who is blasting Mike Clevinger to the tune of 6 for 13 with 2 dongers and an avg of .462; .563 OBP, 1.000 SLG and 1.563 OPS

    Rot.#969 Jays (Springer) OVER 1.5 BASES +123 2 UNITS

    Aces gonna ace

    Rot.#956 Braves-1.5 -120 RL Fried#6 1 UNIT

    Aces gonna ace

    Rot.#967 Royals-119 ML Ragans #4 1 UNIT

    Aces gonna ace

    Rot.#959 Fish (Luzardo#10) OVER 5 K's +103

Of course I rostered Glasnow#2 so I replaced him with a bat from his own team. And since Freddy Freeman's batting 5-11 with a .455 avg and .455 SLG and 909 OPS vs Megill it has to be this way

Rot.#981 Dodgers (Freddy Freeman) OVER 1.5 BASES +114 2 UNITS

I also rostered Nestor Cortes ONLY on a 12 teamer and accordingly I need a bat to replace him and keep him at #11

Jake Fraley of the Red Leggins is hitting 5-7 with 2 DINGERS a .714 ag, .750 OBP, 13571 SLG and 2.321 OPS vs Kyle Gibson

Rot.#952 Red Leggins (Fraley) OVER 1.5 BASES +114 2 UNITS

So Freddy Peralta, Imanaga, Wheeler#1 today, Castillo#8 today, Littell#13, Gausman#5 should all be in any and all leagues/platforms that you have going. The value just keeps adding up for Imanaga as the days pass

Ronald Acuna out for the remainder of the season with an ACL tear. Yikes! There was a line down the block and around the corner for guys blasting away on Acuna as their #1 option-hoping to get similar results to last season's MVP campaign. The Commish has definitely cleaned up as a result of this. This alone may be paying his HOA fees for the rest of the year. I grabbed Mookie Betts who I need to get over 24 dingers; 88 RBI's; 106 walks; 121 runs scored and no more than 68 K's by season's end. Those aren't exactly MVP type numbers-but I figured that having Ohtani, Freeman and Will Smith wrapped around him that many of the numbers can happen or be exceeded.

I should have some time by the end of tomorrow to tighten up my record folks. Lots of backlog for my day job!

Ok so for tomorrow it' Imanaga Day! What a great time to be alive! If you kept him on roster you would be getting him at a discounted price on Hump Day like me! Blast away with him on any and all ways imaginable.

I just had to sub in a few bats for Wednesday as some of my studs are overvalued as hell.

Such is the case with my #1 Corbin Burnes who has 19 K's vs the Red Sox-however when held up under the magnifying glass he has 8 K's against one single player-Tyler O'Neill, and he is sure to be given a hefty price to chase K's. I can't stomach going under his K's however so I replaced him with a bat. Anthony Santander is blasting Kutter Crawford (who I demoted to #14) with a line of 3-8 with 1 BOMB and a .375 avg, .375 OBP, .750 SLG and 1.125 OPS

Rot.#914 Orioles (Anthony Santander) OVER 1.5 BASES +114 2 UNITS

Aces gonna ace-what's worse the Brews haven't faced him before

    Rot.#911 Cubs (Shota Imanaga#2) OVER6.5 K's -104 2 UNITS

Aces gonna ace-he only had 3 K's his last outing but if you've got him-you're gonna start him

    Rot.#925 Buccos (Skenes#3) OVER 7.5 K's +104 Game 2 1 UNIT

My #4 is Bailey Ober and i want to keep him there-only he has pedestrian numbers vs the Royals; so I replaced him with a bat from..the opposing team. Kyle Isabel is hitting 3-8 vs Ober with a .375 avg; .444 OBP, .750 SLG and a 1.194 OPS

Rot.#917 Royals (Kyle Isabel) OVER 1.5 BASES +116 2 UNITS

My #5 is Yu Darvish who only has 6 K's in 33 at bats facing the Fish. So I of course kept him where he is and replaced him with JD Martinez (Metropolitans) who is BLASTING James Paxton#17 with a line of 10-22 with 2 DINGERS, .455 avg, .500 OBP, .909 SLG and 1.409 OPS

Rot.#908 Metropolitans (JD Martinez) OVER 1.5 BASES +104 2 UNITS

My #6 is Jack Flaherty. It ain't just the numbers-it's the numbers vs the team you are facing-and he has 14 K's vs 12 WALKS vs the Buccos. I decided to replace him with the entire Blunts hitting squad who are blasting Kyle Harrison#24 (DNS) into the shadow realm with a .417 avg, .462 OBP, .853 SLG, and 1.295 OPS

    Rot.#903 Blunts Team Total OVER 4.5 +110 3 UNITS

My #7 is Luis Gil of the Bombers. His price is pretty steep and at the same Tyler Anderson actually has decent numbers vs the Bombers. No one in their right mind would take a FF UNDER in this situation except me

    Rot.#921 Bombers/Halos UNDER 4.5 FF -110 Gil#7/Anderson#16 1 UNIT

My #8 is Seth Lugo-I double swapped with him and Ober for Kyle Isbel. The fact is that Lugo is no longer a secret and he is inflated now for K's and only has gone 6 frames a handful of times.

My #9 George Kirby. Aces gonna ace-and when he is allowing the Astronauts .167 avg, .194 OBP, .178 SLG and .371 OPS why would I go against my stud!

    Rot.#924 Sailors-120 Kirby#9 vs Verlander#11 1 UNIT

My last and final top 10 move is Ryan Pepiot #10 (Rays) who doesn't get any run support from our local team. His first start back from the IL wasn't a fun time with his four seamer command-but we can roll with him now as hopefully he gets more pitches and has a better heater and it's the A's...who just blasted them shut out style this evening

    Rot.#916 Rays-1.5 RL +110 Pepiot#10 2 UNITS

If I were to tell you that Dane Dunning (DNS and Ryne Nelson(DNS) had good numbers vs their respective opposition would you believe it? Me neither. Dunning is holding the Snakes to a .167 avg, .222 OBP, .167 SLG, and .389 OPS while Nelson holds the Wanderers to a .133 avg, .133 OBP, .400 SLG, and a .533 OPS

    Rot.#927 Snakes/Wanderers UNDER 4.5 FF +102 Nelson (DNS)/Dunning (DNS) 1 UNIT

All of this brings me to my streamer pick of the day-wherein I try to get a huge return on a pitcher no none wants to take. Anyone following these moves can see how this works. Mackenzie Gore#14 is allowing the Braves a .159 avg, .260 OBP, .318 SLG and .578 OPS. translated he can get me my 5 frames with only being on 26% of the rosters for Wednesday. not as much a huge return, but I will take it, He is opposed by a rookie who has little information on him in Spencer Schwellenbach. I have him as a DNS for this one-here's my write up on him in our discord page as I reached out for any sources I could find

"Uhhh, he’s kinda cool. Limited information is out there given his minute experience in pro ball (TJS return in 2023), but he’s carved up A+ and AA ball this year. Mid-90s heater with a legit breaker (or two?) and could slide into the rotation easily for Atlanta given their lit-up-and-obnoxiously-loud carousel of arms they’ve used for Strider’s vacant SP #5 spot."

The big board has been updated with the exception of Skenes which hasn't been assigned yet due to a pitching change by the Tigers from Flaherty-which also means that in the end I didn't have to swap out a bat for him-and yet it's still all good since he will be kept on roster giving me a discount the next time he performs. I used him in a deeper league also (15 teamer)

Oh darn...Paxton was removed after the 3rd frame-so JD won't get another at bat against him. I smell money burning as a result of that managers' decision

The good news is that Skenes has 9 K's and well worth the investment. I picked him up BEFORE he was called up so the profit is residual at this point. I don't know if folks were just interested in getting wins with MLB straights or not-all that I know is that there has ben some very good fantasy league recommendations going on here. Everyone who tunes into this thread saw me grab this guy when he was in AAA along with Christian Scott and I advised everyone to get him at bargain basement pricing

Gore is DEALIN! 8 K's and no walks in 4 frames already and my POD may or may not win in this format, but it for damn sure is looking very good for my 12 teamer. Who knows? He may go 6 frames and really bring back a nice return!

Looking ahead to Thursday I see that although I have about 8 of my studs going-they have a high usage rate on 12 and 15 teamers. It looks like a good day to stay mostly neutral and let them get their frames and keep the short money coming through the door. Some of them have as high a usage rate as 80% early here. The smaller the schedule the harder it is to find value. Let there be bats!

I am sure that in order to get some Gallen#1 in this format I may end up having to go RL as Christian Scott has pitched 22.2 frames and has given up 20 hits and 21 K's in those-so it's feast or famine for this guy. Gallen has 20 K's in 80 at bats vs the Metropolitans so a 1 K out of every 4 batters isn't a viable source for chasing K's in this format. Out of those 20 K's 6 are against Alonzo and 4 against McNeill. Just going for the frames and ERA for this

    Aces gonna ace

    Rot.#953 Snakes-110 FF ML Gallen#1 1 UNIT

My #2 Jack Flaherty You want K's? You're getting K's. My man is a K machine. End of story. Doesn't hurt at all that I kept him on the roster with his missed start replacing him with a winning bat and got him at a discounted rate. Also Javier Baez (Tigers) is blasting Pivetta with a 3-7 performance including a .429 avg, .500 OBP, .857 SLG and 1.357 OPS to go along with a walk and a BOMB

    Rot.#963 Tigers (Baez) OVER 1.5 BASES +137 1 UNIT
    Rot.#963 Tigers (Flaherty#2) OVER 6 K's +100 2 UNITS
    Rot.#963 Tigers-105 FF ML (Flaherty) 1 UNIT

My #3 is one of the situations-Pivetta is being used by everyone and their uncle so I am replacing him with a bat in Athletics Brett Rooker who hits Tyler Alexander at 4 for 6 with a 667 avg, .667 OBP, .833 SLG, 1500 OPS

    Rot.#957 Athletics (Rooker) OVER 1.5 BASES +114 2 UNITS

My #4 is Logan Gilbert who isn't doing all of the things, but he's doing enough of the things. I replaced him with Kevin Smith who is detonating Patrick Sandoval#14 with a line of 4 for 8, with a double, A BOMB, and a .500 avg, .500 OBP, 1.000 SLG and 1.500 OPS. Yes he is currently only hitting .185 which means obviously he will have OODLES of value and should he go over 1.5 bases i will be pulling much more than a rabbit out of my hat

Rot.#965 Bombers (Smith) OVER 1.5 BASES NO LINE 2 UNITS NOT OFFERED

Of course Rodon#6 is being used by everyone, I have him so I'm keeping him rostered and since the return is so small I swapped him out with a bat as well. Matt Olson is a guy that I drafted while the stock was low (see my buy/sell post in this thread) so why not use him in this spot vs #13 Williams who he is hitting .333 avg, .500 OBP, .833 SLG and 1.333 OPS with a DINGER and 2 walks.

    Rot.#956 Braves (Olson) OVER 1.5 BASES +105 2 UNITS

My #6 Reynaldo Lopez only has 2 wins on the season and I was shocked to see that. the Braves give him some run production in this one

    Rot.#956 Braves-1.5 RL +100 Lopez#6 2 UNITS

My #7 Christian Scott as I pointed out earlier has 22.2 IP and has 20 hits surrendered and 21 K's. You already know I had to replace him with a bat-Byron Buxton (Twins) who is 7 for 15 vs Singer#8 and has 2 DINGERS, a .467 AVG, .467 OBP, 1.000 SLG, 1.467 OPS. In other words I used his bat TWICE to cover my overvalued #7 and #8 arms of my AUTO STARTS in my 12 teamer.

    Rot.#960 Twins (Buxton) OVER 1.5 BASES +126 3 UNITS

I have James Taillon#10 and I have to admit I am not a fan of his stuff and he hasn't found his groove yet. Rea has good numbers vs the Cubs with a .125 avg, .125 OBP, .188 SLG and .312 OPS but he has only faced the Cubs for a total of 16 at bats for the 7 K's he has gotten. I have Rea as a DNS as a result and I elected to go with Christian Yelich who is batting .435 with a .458 OBP, .739 SLG and 1.197 OPS vs Taillon

    Rot.#952 Brews (Yelich) OVER 1.5 BASES +121 2 UNITS

Things worked out well for Kirby getting in 6 frames and 8 K's with no walks. He left with a no decision which translates into a somewhat decent payday out of my 4th ranking for him. He was on 58% of the streamers for today. The real bell cow for today with only 11% of usage was my streamer POD in Gore who went 5 and 1/3 today with 10 K's and 0 walks turning my $400 investment into a robust $1860 with my down back after the shares were collected and redistributed for that event! If Gore could have only lasted two more outs to get through the 6th frame I could have cleared over 2 dimes!

Anyway I am working on updating the record and I will be back after the conclusion of this Astronauts/Sailors game

The Commish sent around an email just now for a 20 team streaming challenge on Friday with a $200 per person buy in and roughly a $12,000 pot spread out amongst the 60 league players of all levels if everyone can join up; which they won't. There are a lot of inactives-damn near almost half. I will enter tho-noting like some extra bread....

College baseball is a very chalky sport when you step back and look at it. Yes, sometimes in midweek games, you may see some big upsets over a top-ranked team by a team you’ve likely never heard of before, but when the postseason rolls around, the cream almost always rises to the top. Looking back over the last five years, all of your eventual National Champions have shared some interesting characteristics. They were all preseason ranked in the Top 10 (yes, even Ole Miss after their improbable run at the 2022 National Championship began the season #5). All had a Team wRC+ (Weighted Runs Created, using wOBA, scaled where 100 is the average) above 100 (or above average) as well as a Team SIERA (Skill-Interactive Earned Run Average) under 3.50. Lastly, all five of the previous national champions had a road record above .500. If that trend continues, the field of potential national championship contenders is narrowed down to only two teams: Texas A&M and Tennessee. Oh, and one more thing… The #1 overall seed hasn’t won the National Championship since 1999 when Miami did it. This year’s #1 overall seed is the Tennessee Volunteers. So, if you believe in trends, it might not be a bad idea to go ahead and grab a Texas A&M +600 ticket. I know that I am...

Jack Flaherty is in today and Maeda has been moved to tomorrow so go OVER his K's and with that I may as well keep the bat that I utilized to replace him when the Tigers were goofing around with the possibility of him not starting. Wondering aloud has the public not been privy to information about some hidden injury issues for Flaherty?
