If they get rid of the injury report you could tell if someone is injured from the lines. They will correct themselves as the information will not be held secret. So if Tampa plays the Falcons in Tampa and the line is -3 Falcons you will know Brady is injured without reading the injury report.

They are not gamblers betting on the games, who are afforded some rights by the rules of the NFL itself.

I do agree that fantasy players are gamblers, but I stand by what I said about the rights they are afforded.

The injury reports are not and never were meant for fantasy players, they are and always were meant for those betting the Vegas line.

So let me be clear, under the current rules, fantasy players are not entitled to anything, that's where I disagree with you. And it's the sense of entitlement that I am bitching about.

Everybody is always getting the same info, no matter their purpose, I'm saying some should recognize when that info should be more esoteric.

Such is life in the world of the Kung Flu. We have felt for 9 months now, once it was obvious the vaccine wasn't an immediate cure, that we will be feeling the ramifications of the Kung Flu for a couple of years.

It's crazy, a population of people create another way to bet on the player performance outside of props, create leagues with money pools, and then it grow immensely popular as gambling companies start hosting the competitions.

But at what point along the way does that group start to feel they can start making demands for information from the NFL?

Do they want the NFL to print a list of all the players that went out drinking the Sat night before gameday?

Or would it serve the bettor, or fantasy player, to find out that info on their own in with the local beat?

The NFL offers a courtesy, as required by a commission, and the people think they have right to every bit of info possible.

I don't like the public demanding these things of the league, learn to win without it.

I think gamblers, (both Vegas line and Fantasy), are entitled to diddly squat. However, the NFL will put out some specific types of information because it's in their interest PR-wise to do so. There is some information they won't put out, and sports journalists, by hook or by crook, will attempt to fill that gap. I'm fine with all of that. I don't like or play Fantasy. I don't have an issue with most that do. Sports are primarily an entertainment to me. If I can profitably, or at least not significantly negatively, wager on them then that's a plus.
