Club acquires right-handed minor league pitchers Joe Ryan and Drew Strotman, in exchange for designated hitter Nelson Cruz and right-handed minor league pitcher Calvin Faucher.

The Twins are not sending any money to the Rays in the Cruz deal, per source. Tampa Bay will assume roughly $5 million that Cruz is owed for the remainder of the season.

He is still playing? I'm so out of the baseball loop. I haven't forgiven him for that screw up in the world series.

19/50/.294 -- Not exactly "dead meat"! Those numbers are upper echelon for 2021.

Yeah man.Look at his numbers since age 34.
His stick has not slowed down at all in six years and he's 41 now.

    Dude was like Edgar.
    There's a reason why he's this generation's best DH.

430 + lifetime taters while playing for some world class shit clubs too.

What does dead meat mean in slang?

If you say that someone is dead meat, you mean that they are in very serious trouble that may result in them being hurt or injured in some way. [informal, spoken]

    Pavy?
    You're one of my favorites.
I just wanted a clarification is all.

Yeah, Twins pitching is the problem, they overrated and overvalued their arms.
And pitching wins, always has, and always will.

You're aces in my book fella,
