losing my faith in offshore books

quick history on how I found SBR,,,

back in 2003 I hit ESB (English Sports Betting) pretty hard. Had over 5k began drawing 1k a week till they stopped paying.

I searched the web and found SBR. they negotiated another $500 from those dead beats at ESB and then I got stiffed for 3k.

I then learned about the A+ rated books ..actually used YouWager and Bookmaker before settling with BetOnLine.

now this crap with the so called hack BOL and the site being down...I wonder if there is any place safe other than Vegas Sports books to wager..I mean shit if ENRON and Lehman Brothers went belly up over night whats to stop these deregulated offshore books doing the same.

sux..wish USA would legalize and regulate sportsbooks.

Bookmaker, cant go wrong. Actually u dont need offshores, most states have retail shops now and own mobile apps. Im in illinois, and theres 5 companies now , all with mobile and retail.

What gets me is books that aren't even licensed in their country still demand "Know Your Customer" rules,
and those KYC laws did change offshore when they were implemented. If you play at a licensed book then
KYC laws actually do protect you and the book, but only if licensed. Check on that no matter where you go.

Like say if you are out of town for a few days and you have a balance at betonline and use a valid credit card on the site, you could get taken the the cleaners.

definitely not an A+ book. SBR needs to downgrade them after this.

Beats playing at these regulated USA books. Wait a few years until everything settles in and the books are happy with the customer base they built. All these promos and deals you see will vanish away. Just play at Bookmaker.
