This is the absolute best chromebook to get. Unbelievable battery life, speed is great even if you leave tons of tabs open. When it's on sale for under $400, it's a steal. The one you bought is low power and may lag/crash if you're asking it to do too many things at once.

If you want to save a few extra $$$, get an open box certified Excellent.
As someone who is addicted to these things, and has several higher end ones, this is my favorite chromebook and the best value out there by far.

The books in the US require a plugin called Geocomply to verify your location. Make sure that plugin can be installed if you want to bet with US books.

I don't think it's possible on a chromebook yet, but not 100% sure. You can load Android apps on it, so maybe that way?

The Updated model of this just came out, and Best Buy has a tremendous deal on it, which I don't think will ever be matched on Prime Day, Black Friday, etc. $399 ($230 off) PLUS, they're throwing in a $200 Sony Wireless Headphone for free. Still absolutely love this machine, and the updated one is supposed to be even better. You just have to be a student or have a student in your house, but they're not strict on verifying that. You can get other chromebooks with this free headphone deal, but I'd recommend this one based on my experience with the model I have above. That geocomply thing is still an open question on a chromebook. I know you can download the app from the playstore, but don't know how, or if it works.
