Last night a dog of +9 and another at +9.5 won outright !! I was not on either of these two.
Mercer vs HC..HC + 9 with ML of -455/+405 HC won 81-67
ILL vs Mia(fld)..Canes + 9.5 with a ML of -440/+340 Canes won 81-79
My point here,is that of technical analysis . Sports betting and the markets are very similar .....cheep things are not cheep and expensive things are not expensive !! They are priced that way for a reason ! In college hoops,getting +9/9.5 equates to a ML of about -500/+400. In the ILL game @ -9.5 and only laying -440 got peoples attention (esp. value players)..but with a dog getting +9.5 and ONLY getting +340 on the ML is eye-popping!!..........so reading into numbers does tell a story ! The books wanted no part of people betting this game,with the dog on the ML.........It becomes very hard to pull the trigger at +340..................but just how good is the " story" ??
Otter I bumped this at the same time you posted...........FYI- I did a video about 10 days ago...there is an angle with the plus 9 plus 9.5 and other things....tail or fade makes no diff. but there is a lot of good info there.....had a head cold and vid. was too long at 22min. ..........................BOL
