    Big 12 defenses

    Tcu shuts down cal.
Iowa State held vaunted wazzu O to only 327 yrs.
    -2 turnovers did them in

The good defenses in the big 12 are as good as any defense in the country - the story of the big 12 is great offense not bad defense, the offenses make the defenses look bad. ESPN just likes to shit on the big 12 because they have a love affair with the SEC.

Or it just shows how shitty the Pac 12 was this year. If you are trying to tell us that Big 12 defenses are great all of sudden because a team shut down Cal I don't know what else to do but laughing guy.

How about we hold off on the defense talk until we see a team that is actually playing someone. I would be impressed if OU held Bama to 21 or less but I see them giving up td after td like usual.

Oklahoma defense vs Alabama will be interesting to watch.

Tua been poppin off supposedly writing trash talk on some of the Sooners facebook pages. This Oklahoma defense might just lay the wood on him

Or then again they might give up a 70 burger
guess we will find out tomorrow.

Oklahoma has allowed 40 td's on 47 red zone drives......... wanna spin that in favor of your feeble argument here? or nah?

Big 12 defenses have averaged giving up 33 per game the last two days. The whole TCU holding Cal down is just ridiculous because Cal averaged about 22 points a game this season in a league that plays almost zero defense. Add to the fact that Cal's scoring average was greatly bumped by two games in which they score over 40+ points on two of the worst teams in college football. The rest of the schedule they played Cal could barely must averaging 2 tds a game in a conference that is known to play mediocre to zero defense. If TCU would have been torched by Cal it would have been really embarrassing considering the fact that TCU has been one of the 2 or 3 defenses in the whole Big 12 that is known for playing any defense at all.

Oklahoma isn't the only team in the big 12, Iowa State and tcu were both impressive

Tell me why you are nervous. I just put the facts out on the conference. You worried that TCU held Cal to 7 points so that means OU is going to hold Bama to 7 points when the rest of the conference is averaging giving up damn near 5 tds a game?

Jahaha. Kind of...Bowl games are not the best sample. This is a longer conversation... I think there’s some truth to this. Especially 5 years ago. There’s a lot of Oklahoma teams in the past that I wished got a crack at a weaker Bama offensive team. Tua has changed all that definitively. Hurts was getting there. Some of those Big 12 teams over last 10 years had decent D’s with great O’s. Just slipped up along the way and they don’t get Mulligans like Bama ( that’s your Saban right there who doesn’t want to extend the field, cause his team plays by different rules).
Anyway, by all accounts this is not one of those OK defenses.

Lastly WV defense looked a lot better v Syracuse. That’s not a bad O right there in Syracuse.

Every game is different , what West Virginia did vs Syracuse , Iowa State vs Wazzou means shit toward Bama vs Oklahoma.
Bama has 80% of the team either 4 or 5 star talent .
This WR Corp is better than any in the country overall .
Judy , Waddle , Smith , Irv Smith - No way the Sooners can cover these speedsters .
    RB Pure power and speed
    Harris , Harris , Jacobs
Bama controls the play by running
Don't be surprised seeing Hurts playing due to the ability to run and keep Murray off the field .
Surely nobody is pondering because other shitbag teams playing means the most talented team in college isn't going to score ? Score a lot
    Bama by 3+ TD
    52-27

Anyone impressed by these defenses...no worries. I don’t know what else to say. It wasn’t that impressive. Alabama is gonna go apple picking with Oklahoma’s balls.

Good joke though. The Big 12 D’s are as good as...I forgot the rest.

My whole point was that the Big 12 gets a horrible rap for their D but they've looked pretty good in the games vs cal and wazzu

    I never said they're great

Not bad. 4-3. WVU and OU to be expected. ISU blew it/got screwed.

Yep, record could have easily been 5-2 if you consider that ISU outgained and out first-downed Wazzu big time and held them to only 327 yds. TCU v Cal could have gone either way but a 5-2 record more indicative of what truly happened on the field
