Only reason you need "obscure" exchanges is to buy/sell "obscure" coins or some ERC20 tokens.

When I'm using a main coin I use Poloniex... or even use Exodus who's fees are a lil higher but I know is a super safe wallet, probably the safest out there, never been hacked... mew and myetherwallet got hacked recently...

My last salary, my boss makes me offers to pay salary advances (for 2-3 months at once) and double the amount if I accept some alt coin or token he needs to get rid off... some weeks ago he sent me $4800 worth of cybervein tokens... which only can be exchanged on IDEX and HitBTC... I used IDEX w/o much problems.

I know is risky, but IDEX has more good than bad reviews, and yeah this is a new industry and shit happens until eventually it gets better... sometimes you gotta risk some to win some

Twisterm google for reviews on the exchange...also check reddit and the bitcoin talk forum for safety and reviews.

i signed up a while ago, not sure exactly when...got an email this week saying it's ready to go. im just not sure if i will be using it yet until i get more info

for certain coins/tokens we have to use certain exchanges. i have used several, even ones i felt uncomfortable using to access specific coins

this whole crypto scene is still fairly new to most of us, nobody here is an expert on all yet...just some have more experience than others

its always good to have open dialogue with things like this so that we can keep each other updated with positive and negative experiences, just as we do with sportsbooks...seems like they go hand in hand

i do check reddit sometimes, i know they have a very active forum for the crypto scene and i will be checking that forum as soon as i can dedicate some time

yeah I hear you twister... I opened a thread like this when I was looking to exchange the CVT tokens... these exchanges are scary if you are moving over $500, for me personally losing more than that would tilt me bad... moving $4800 there was nerve wrecking to say the least...

oh, and I was gonna insult the shitface but that's how they are happy, they need OUR attention thats why they come at us all the time... I put him on ignore 2 days ago and just decided to stop reading the posts altogether, fukk him, hope he chucks on a chicken bone
