Tell me about the chicago bears 2016-2017

Fox turns teams around quickly. The bears were in every game pretty much last year. I like the schedule setup. I'm a die hard bears fan. I know gase left but books putting too much stock into that. I'm sure his teachings were learned and can come into play going forward.

    Locals tell me.

Giving away Matt Forte with NO replacement was one of the dumbest things I've seen.

He was the engine that made that offense move.

    6-10

    7-9 at best

Biggest question is offensive skill positions around Cutler.

Jeffery is of injured and malcontent, but could be productive. White is totally untested, but might be dynamic. Rest or WR corp is totally unknown. No depth at TE. Untested RB's. If they all play to talent, might work. Defense should definitely be better, but secondary is shaky. Yes, coaching staff could get the most out of it.

Cutler not the problem at all. If guys around him do their job, he could have a huge season. Could go anywhere from 6-10 to 10-6.

Lol Adam Gase leaving is a nonfactor. So Manning made him and Denver and gave him a good reputation. He's no different than any other coach.

Chicago will be respectable I suppose but they won't touch Green Bay in that division. Minnesota is probably still better as well.

Why did you decide against the name Bearsboy?

Can you imagine is Big Bear was still posting, and your name was Bearsboy?

Depends if cutler can play like last year... defense should be fairly stout. Losing Forte is a big factor, especially against the packers. Packers win the division followed by vikings then bears.

Chicago's problem is simple. They choke in December. Their record is 6-14 during the past 5 seasons in their last 4 games of the season. The defense is just horrible during that time, giving up an average of 27 ppg.

Kyle Long in a walking boot and Pernell McPhee on PUP. Not a good start.

Biggest risk is untested and depth at offense skill positions (other than Cutler, who is a strength).

    Defensive front is much improved.

If Jeffery and White stay healthy, Cutler will have the best year of his career.

(CBS) Remember the days of former Bears coach Lovie Smith declaring “Rex is our quarterback” so often? Those days are long gone with John Fox.

Following Brian Hoyer’s latest efficient performance — a 397-yard outing in the Bears’ 29-23 loss to the Colts on Sundy — Fox wouldn’t discuss whether Jay Cutler will return to his starting role when his thumb sprain heals.

“We don’t have a plan,” Fox said Monday at Halas Hall. “Right now we’ve got two guys healthy in Matt Barkley and Brian Hoyer, and those are our quarterbacks right now. I think all our focus is there right now.”

Brian Hoyer is chili without beans. Cutler's spicier and fartier.
