    Patriots Deal Chandler Jones

To Arizona for a 2nd rounder and former No. 7 overall pick Jonathan Cooper (G). Doesn't seem like nearly enough.

Opened up $5 mill in cap space for New England.

    Great move by Belichick.

Belichick has done so much for kraft yet he can't get any good players.

Happy to see him out of the AFC East....Great passrusher but I guess a fair trade for New England

Chandler signed his own ticket outta town when he smoked some spice (supposedly, probably crack), had a panic attack and walked into his local police station semi-naked at 5am.......during the playoffs. That sht don't fly with Coach Belichek. It's a shame because he's a heckuva talent!

Great deal for both teams. Could meet in Superbowl. Chandler Jones a tremendous player and Jonathan Cooper one of the best in the business.

Typical Pats move everyone expendable but Brady. Probably more to this than been reported. Pats are very hush hush and I VERY much respect that trait especially in today's world. Some things are just nobodies fukkin biz including media. But just doing some simple math and coming up with a "possible" scenario here. Week he wigged out on synthetic was when Beli showed up following day with a black eye. Just sayin if Chandler had ANYTHING to do with that directly or indirectly as part of a altercation it could have played a part in this.

Chandler is a one year rental right?

you get a 2nd round pick AND a former first rounder that has had injuries and cap space.

    business business business

but then again maybe the Patriots don't know what they are doing as well as some posters here

As a Patriot fan, BOSTON born/bread, it is simple....IN BILL WE TRUST.

They got rid of Off line coach, so maybe Bill & Co. have decided to keep TB off his ass for a bit??

Also the 5 Mil in cap space is nice.

I would imagine Bob Kraft had some say in getting rid of Jones after the synthetic weed incident. Pats also signed Howie Long's kid (high character guy), so Bilichek did pretty well imo.
