Believe his live arm was one of the reasons he went 1st. Brian Billick ex-coach of the Ravens said Russell had the highest grade of any player on the draft board in the 9 years he was with the team. But Russell evidently did not have the makeup of an NFL QB among other reasons he failed. His arm was not one of them.

If he gets in shape and does make the impossible happen, will he return to the Raiders and work for free cause they bum took Al's money back in the day. Thought Raider deep pass was back when we got that Fat Lazy Fuc! Hope he works his ass off gets the best accuracy and mobility of any QB in the league and just before he gets signed by the ten teams that can't wait to get him for $3 million he falls and breaks his legs. Really like the guy though-hope the best....

Poor guy. I give um credit for trying. But it's probably wiser to be at your playing weight or close to it, not 1 billion cheeseburgers over it. 308 is NOT acceptable or would even put him on any team's radar - so he just blew a PR opportunity like the moron he has been. I would be shocked if he ever got even a workout from an NFL team at this point. I really would.
