Again, as a reminder, the 20* plays are not LOCKS - no such thing. The key to my work is to BET the same per * unit play and resist the temptation to make too large a bet on the stronger plays. Requires discipline and time to learn that discipline, but is a key to any successful betting strategy.. Near exact to trading currencies, commodities, or stocks. Just like my number one rule tradig markets is never add good money to a trade that is not working out. But brokers make livelihoods on telling clients to dollar cost average their losing positions - that way the under performing stock only has to recover to a lower price. Problem is there are fundamental reasons the stock went down in the first place and even the great Warren Buffett hardly ever catches the exact bottom in his investments. He is the greatest long-term 'investor' and has that fundamental discipline that is required in all professional careers. Any, enough preaching, especially after a 20* loss.

#2949Happy New Year Everyone! Hope everyone is waking up bright eyed and full of vigor. Well, at least with a Bloody Mary in hand and nursing down some hangover remedies. But, seriously, i want to thank everyone for your valuable contributions to all of my threads. It has been quite enjoyable and I am very excited about he prospects for the playoffs.
Plays for Week 17 with research on the site for the Redskins and Seattle plays
5* Washington +9 -112 playing Philadelphia
5* Atlanta -10 -110 playing the Bucs
5* Seattle +2 1/2 -110 playing Arizona
20* 49ers -10 -108 (Five Dimes) playing the Rams
Please, and to reiterate once again, the last thing you want to do with a 20* play is bet over your head, especially on the first day of 2012. Please, make it the equivalent of FOUR 5* wagers and not a penny more. In fact, there is NOTHING wrong with playing it with less money. I obviously, love the play, but as you have seen this season, they do NOT all win.. We have made money grinding it out week after week and that is the discipline we all must maintain.Comment -

#2950Briefly, Rams are 0-28 SU and 4-24 ATS as division home dogs of three or more points since 1982 and they’re
0-9 ATS against greater than .500 division foes when they own a losing record and are coming off three or more SU losses.
49ers get the 2nd seed and the VERY important week off while the Saints have to play. It is very likely, that the 49ers would face the Saints at home in the Conference semi-final. The No. 1 ranked defense will dominate the line of scrimmage and could pitch a shutout against a Rams team that has essentially NO interest in winning this game. The 49ers like to create one-on-one matchups on the outside where their big, athletic wide receivers can out-maneuver or out-physical cornerbacks to the ball. Look for a lot of motion and combination routes that force the Rams into single coverage with their cornerbacks. St. Louis has given up 19 receiving touchdowns this year.Comment -

#2971Sorry for the lateness. Internet log-in issues, but I had decided to wait and see how this game goes as already mentioned. Truly, I want to unload on dallas, but then I would be a hypocrite with all that I have been about this season. Even after 18 seasons, it is still hard to resist the temptation to load up on the last week of the regular season, but I remind myself that we will have some outstanding plays in the playoffs, where I have done very well.Comment -

#2974I highly recommend a 5* play on Dallas in the second half. Giants habitually go into a shell with the lead and will undoubtedly go to a cover-2.. or cover-3.. As bad as this looked in the first half Dallas had Three great opportunities to turn the tide. Two fumbles they could have had had and then capitalizing on the missed FG. Dallas did take Cruz out of the game in the second quarter. Giants under Coughlin have always been very predictable with the lead... and I strongly believe Dallas will make a game of this yet.Comment -
