The ridiculous stuff continues. Providence averages 7 made threes per game on 32% shooting. They made 8 in the first half on 57% shooting. Marquette allows just 31% on the season from three.

Hang in there.....been a ton of Over losers like that this year. First half or first 32+ minutes or whatever looks great then they go in a collective funk. I had Col State Over 146 last week and they were down 51-29 at half and couldn't combine for 60 in the 2nd half?I was more than a little frustrated last night. More stupid stuff last night. Omaha shot 54% but couldn’t cover because they allowed 16 offensive rebounds (they allow 8 on average and North Dakota averages 8 per game). Then Long Beach shot under 30% in the first half against one of the worst defensive teams in college basketball. The hits keep coming.Comment -

Lots of interesting situational spots this time of year. Teams who are out already (even from conf tourneys), teams playing for revenge for an earlier season loss, senior nights, teams playing for conf and ncaa seeding, teams getting healthy/teams banged up and wacky travel spots (esp out west) can all factor in enough to move markets depending on which narrative catches on.Comment -
Believe it or not, I consider most, of not all, of those factors. One of the main issues I’m running into (and have been for a few years now) is the heavy reliance on three point shooting. My goal over the summer is to look more into the volatility of the three point shot, which seems to be exacerbated by moving the line back. It’s not uncommon these days to see a team take 50%+ of its shots from three. Under or over performing the percentage can get things out of whack pretty quickly when that happens, and it’s nearly impossible to predict in my experience.Comment -

Hurry back brother! Omaha was Over from the opening tip the other night!! That was a nice one! Trying to cash the BTN doubleheader Overs tonite. Sparty went Over and now need Iowa to start hitting and push this one Over as well! I can't figure out the B10 this year? Feels like they'll either put 6 teams in the Sweet 16 or 1 at most. Nobody seems to be able to win on the road except Sparty. I'll probably play Rutgers in their first game. They haven't been in the NCAAs since the 70s and will be hyped up.Comment -

Appreciate the confidence. I’m not usually one to talk about how I “feel” about a game or in life generally, but I do feel a little rejuvenated after a couple of days off. In the future I may build in off days in January and February. It’s such a long season with so many games that I think I burned out a bit. No guarantees, but I have had some nice tournament success in years past.
Not sure what number you got, but it looks like the Iowa game went over. Nice! I tend to agree on the Big 10 as far as the tournament goes. I won’t be surprised either way. So much uncertainty, but Kansas does look like the best team right now. Beyond that, who knows?Comment -

Yeah Iowa Over barely got there with 23 points in the last 4 minutes! Good luck with AF/Fresno Over. I wanted to see how the neutral court in Vegas will affect these Mountain West teams? I've had a good feel for Colorado State this year and really like Over 136 later with Wyoming. Col State is one of those teams that can really score at times, but doesn't have alot of athletes and has trouble stopping people. They beat Wyoming 77-70 last time and Oddsshark has 76-67 for tonite. Looked it up and Col State is 12-1-1 Over vs the total of 136 in their last 14 games.Comment -
How much of it is shooting in a gym they are not used to? In the regular season at least one team is familiar with the gym, but now neither team is familiar with it. Unless you have a team that scores a lot inside the paint, I can see a lot of games going under. Just my 2 cents.Comment
