Lakers and Knicks are doing everything they can to wreck our back to back sweeps. How in the world can they combine to score 5 point through the first 6 minutes of the 4th quarter. That's pathetically ridiculous.

Hopefully we can somehow pull this one out, but it sure is shaping up as the first bad beat of the young season. How in the hell do they score 114 points in the 1h and not get the remaining 90

I think I hate the Knicks even more after tonight, that is pathetic, only 5 pts in the 4th with 2 1/2 min to go. They had to have quit becasue there is no way the Laker D is that good.

Disappointing knicks result, but still a day of profit.

I agree. I gave them one more chance tonight after a pathetic night last night. Tonight was just as bad! Their FG% was 31%! But, hey, their FT% was 83%!

I tailed on that over play and didn't check the score in the
2h. All that was needed was 40+ points in the 3rd and
4th. I couldn't really believe the score at the end.

The Nets/Hawks total at 175 is interesting. It's a tough call, on the one hand it's hard to see the Nets contributing for the minimum of 44 points in each quarter but on the other it's the sort of under play that could get killed by a freethrow.

I made that bet of O 174.5 for the Nets/Hawks game.

I ain't feeling my Knicks atm. Not enough grit for my liking. Amare needs a point guard that can create for him and we don't have that atm. I have never been a Dantoni fan, now that he has some pieces, and doesn't have Donnie Walsh covering for him, he will be on a short leash this season.

Anyway, a positive day it was, and a nice hit with baylor .

It's not only grit, toughness, lack of defense and leadership, but they also lack scoring. As strange as that might sound, except for Amare and Melo, they don't have a lot of reliable scorers. Chandler can't bring all the toughness and defense for the entire team -- other guys have to step up.

The Knicks are a big disappointment for their supporters right now....one of whom will remain nameless

                                        NBA 2011-2012 12/29/2011 Recap

                                        2 - 1 = +0.9x

                                        NBA 2011-2012 Season

                                        9 - 6 = +3.3x

We got robbed out of another 3-0 day when the Lakers and Knicks decided to shut it down in the 2h. It's ok, we had a few close wins the other day and I will never complain about a profitable day. Let's keep it going and get back to the grind. Good luck.

No bench whatsoever. Shumpert getting hurt kills their bench.....not that it's not already awful even when he's healthy.

                                                  NBA 2011-2012 12/30/11

                                                  Play #1

                                                  Heat/Timberwolves over (208.5) 1x (Locked)

I expect a shootout in Minnesota tonight. You have a Heat team coming off a poor shooting effort going against a Twolves team desperately searching for an identity. The Wolves are playing teams close these days and I expect those competitive efforts to continue. The addition of Rubio to the Twolves roster is key, because they now have that playmaker who can create for the inside presence of Love and the inside/outside game of Beasley. Plus, with the sharp point play of Rubio and the tough inside game of Love, the Twolves have the exact formula which usually gives the Heat problems. I think we see both teams play a fast pace and shoot relatively well tonight. There is no reason the Heat should not put up 110 tonight, especially when you factor in the amount of free throws Lebron and Wade should see. The refs are Zarba, Jones and Roe. Zarba was my nemesis last playoffs with a few of my big under plays as he is one of the historically biggest over refs of recent vintage. Plus, he already has 2 overs under his belt this year. Roe has a historical over lean as well, while Jones slightly favors the under. I have this game set at 212 and I think we see a closer around 210.5 or 211. I think we see one of the highest scoring games of the season to date and I am rolling with the over for 1x. Good luck.

I know a lot of people like the Clippers tonight, but I'm not so sure. I know the Bulls better than any other team and I don't expect them to roll over in this key matchup. They love to come up big in games like this where they are playing a high profile opponent. With all eyes on the Clippers, the Bulls will feel a bit disrespected. Don't be surprised to see a Bulls win. I am not playing the side in this game because I think it's too much of a coinflip, but I may have a play on the total. I need to see the Clippers gel a little more as a team before I start backing them against top competition like the Bulls.

Possibly...although the early market seems to disagree. The Clip went from -1.5 to +1.5 as it currently stands....hope you waited if you are going to play them.

When teams go on a "coastal" road trip and go into the final game with a winning record already on said road trip (bulls are 2-1 on this trip), there is a very large discrepancy for them to not cover the spread in that final game. And after researching further, I found that they have a tendency to not perform well in those games to start out.

When teams embark on long roadtrips of 4 games or more, especially when it involves a coastal swing, as the Bulls are currently on, their #1 goal is to come out of that trip with a split. Well, the bulls are 2-1 ahead of that split and feel somewhat satisfied. I would have leaned for the bulls had they somehow lost last night, but they didn't.

Came close at the end, but they should have blown away Sac. Boozer missed some easy jumpers at the end and really Sac had some give away points at the end. As for tonight against the Clips, your definately right here. Bulls will be up for this one. Way to early to crown the Clips here. Paul and Blake are still trying to gel together. Bench mob is well rested here and provided a good showing last night. Rose and Noah should both be good and fresh as they were both in foul trouble last night. Clips will be good as the season goes along, but Bulls are very deep and Rose is looking for a breakout game. Might be tonight.

I don't disagree. Unfortunately, the more I look into this game, the more it seems that the Clippers are the correct play. The Bulls are in a really tough rest and scheduling spot in this game. They are playing in the second of b2b games and this will also be their 4th road game in six days. In addition, this is their final road game before heading home. With the Clippers rested, I would not be surprised to see them win. However, I think the best decision is to pass on this game and that is what I am going to do. GL
