Spurs, Memphis and Houston will play after Clippers, SO the other teams will decide wich team they want to play on PLayoffs...

Nah it's pretty simple. They already can no longer finish 6th so are guaranteed homecourt. Assuming the Rockets beat the Jazz, the Clippers can finish no higher than 3rd and cannot matchup with the Rockets. So, if they finish 3rd they'll play the Spurs (if the Spurs lose and Grizzlies win) or Grizzlies (if the Spurs win or Grizzlies lose). If they finish 5th they're guaranteed to play Portland.

I think they'd rather matchup with Portland than Memphis/San Antonio. But maybe they don't care. We'll see.

It's not only a matter of a team being strong, it's a matter of matchups and who is hot or not as well. It just suits them better. Now the thing is all these players are idiots but I suspect all NBA teams have math guys who will tell players and coaches what the more likely scenarios are.

Not it can also be a case of wanting to stay sharp by playing a good game. We'll see.

Yeah, you caught a bad break at the end but still a 4 unit swing in your favor for taking the early line. Lucky shit like that evens out in the long term and beating the closer by this much is big time +ev play. You'll get the next one.

You are right. If I don't get the early line I probably put 3 or 4 units on Raptors ml today and lose all of it. But I'm still annoyed. That's just who I am. Never satisfied.

Not sure this is a good idea. The Nets are losers, true, but they still have the motivational angle here and are playing at home against a horrible team and were playing fairly well until their 2 recent consecutive losses.

I might just sit out the card tomorrow. I'll just be rooting for the Pelicans and Rockets... And the Pacers I guess. Would like to see them make it. Still undecided on where I'd like to see Chicago finish to put them in the best possible position to make a run.

I feel you. Only winning is good enough. Looking at the bigger picture can help when you get really unlucky at times, though.

NO - Spurs looks to be a great game tonight. I'm probably betting Pels plus the points. Hopefully they get the W as well to cash your future.

New Orleans has to start this game strong. Pop has been known to pull the plug very quickly even in playoff games, I suspect he could do it tonight. Plus which even disregarding that it's hard to beat the Spurs playing from behind.

I could sit there and complain that I bet a first half which I swore off earlier this season, or that I took the Bulls-6 -101 instead of -5.5 -115 thinking the juice wasn't worth it, or that I hedged part of the Nets bet when they went up early in the 4th, but I guess I have to be happy not losing too much on those plays. It looked like 0-3 -400+ most of the way.

And cashing the original 1050/950 bet on Spurs don't win the division and the 25/800 one I made a few days ago on Houston.

Good day. Happy to be heading into the playoffs this way. I'm up 4600 since Friday counting futures, live plays etc.

I had a feeling this might happen. Reminds me of that Jazz Grizzlies game 2 years ago even though Memphis is struggling now as opposed to then. I hope Indiana makes a comeback so I don't regret it and cause I'd like to see them get in.

It should've been a monster series for me but I got all stupid and parlayed the Spurs to win the series with Djokovic to win the French because I was pissed about the rest of the playoffs and wanted to win a lot fast (although I typically never do parlays except for fun), and in the game by game thing I managed to take the Spurs big in the only game they lost

Thank goodness for that 16 grand parlay I hit a month later. Saved my "season".

Should be some interesting ones. We still need to know who matches up with who. It'll be interesting to see if the Spurs are faves w/o homecourt vs the Clippers, I suspect they'd be a short fave.

I hope we get decent odds on the Spurs vs the Clippers if Memphis ends up winning tonight's game. Might be a huge play for me.
