Good stuff Kiefy, Wiman is just one of those guys that the casual fans and gamblers are probably never going to appreciate whilst the likes of C.Miller will always stand out just because of his attitude and his ability to pull off subs against lower level guys. The odds ranging from to +150 to +200 for Miller by Submission were ridiculous IMO and just demonstrates how there will always be money to be made from MMA betting, as Wiman's level of grappling, particularly with regard to his submission defence (which is at a very high level), amongst other attributes were completely overlooked just because Miller had subbed guys like Pearson, Lauzon and Gurgel in the past!

Ha yeah Barry had me worried there for a minute, I had him in my squarish parlay, and the fight to go the distance in another parlay...I thought Beltran was going to overwhelm him and TKO him at one point, think late in second round, wer Barry was hardly blocking and showing no head movement. Was even more frustrating in the third round when he seemed to just stop delivering right leg kicks to Beltran's injured left leg....although Mike Brown gets the award for most frustrating fighter of the night!

ha yeah, pretty much because I didnt properly keep track of my results before then. I went back through the first few pages recently to try and work it out but I hadn't stated the stake on some of my plays so would have to go through all the history on all my accounts which is too much hassle! I worked out though (approximately) that I was either down or up 1 unit up until Bellator 26 so was pretty much starting from plus-zero units anyway!
It's funny when you do look at some of your old plays tho and think what the hell was I doing! I've definitely learnt a lot since joining this forum, especially in the first couple of months when I was following the likes of Ill's, and Brooks' plays and of course your own thread. And I have to say Chairib's absolute condemnation and brutal criticism of some of my early picks and rational behind them (most notably P.Thiago over Kampmann) was also very helpful and a big eye-opener, so muchos gracias to you all!

I wouldn't be surprised if Fedor is hurt (broken hand again) and can't continue in the tournament, or Overeem won't fight in the states and the timetable gets drawn out, causing Strikeforce to bring in an alternate. The plan being for Fedor/Barnett or Overeem/Barnett to meet in the finals and set up an Overeem vs Fedor fight "down the road" as they always seem to do...

If I had to play either at the current odds I'd take Lawler at +200 or better. However, as it's a 5 round fight I'd be more inclined to play Lawler by TKO/KO at +324 (Sportbet) if was going to make any play on him at all. Jacare has tended to keep fights standing for a while in recent fights and although his stand-up is okay he could definitely get caught by Lawler. Im staying away from this one just because of Lawler's tendency to fall in to subs.
