#773Definitely didn't chase anything lol. I didn't even add anything other than a flyer on Sadollah by sub and that was before the card even started. I don't really worry myself with profit from card to card. Its a marathon, not a sprint!
In other news, Jorge Rivera says his fighting Bisping in Australia. I'd love to see Jorge put him on a nice KO reel!Comment -

#775I actually thought he looked great. His kicks and punches were very fluid and had crazy snap on them. His footwork was also improved. He just got caught with that counter and couldn't recover. I still think he has a bright future. In all honesty, I don't regret the bet at all, and I'd prolly do it again. Its just dissappointing to lose on him again in a fight that he should win!Comment -

#777Dana said at the press conference ""Let me tell you what. Andre Winner looked awesome. That kid came out (and) looked fantastic – sharp punches, hard kicks. And then Siver went in there and finished him. Siver looked like a superstar tonight in his own country"
He definitely isn't getting cut. I agree, if he loses one more that he will obviously be cut. He's only 28 and still has room to grow IMO. I guess it depends how much he wants to put in to grow.Comment -

#778Ye Winner will defintely have one more fight and it will be against a guy who is predominantly stand-up but not as good as Siver's...maybe Spencer Fisher. Winner showed great speed and kicks...was just too anxious. Osipzak on the other hand might be cut as he has less potential to be exciting due to his lack of power.Comment -

#782as an unbiased observer with no dog in the hunt,i had winner winning the first until the stoppage....his punches and kicks were thrown with bad intentions.....i was honestly expecting him to whack siver based on what i was watching.....
somebody was getting knocked out....winner got caught...he moved inside instead of keeping distance with his length...
tough fight to call....enhjoyable fan friendly fight while it lasted...
another big weekend upcoming...already parlaying davis and sotiropoulos....just think that sotiropoulos does what lauzon does...just a naturally bigger and better version...with superior striking...lauzon seems to stumble vs the higher level guys...he knows how to exploit his advantages(per jeremy stephens)...problem here?...i really don`t see him having any...not expecting a one-sided beatdown.....leery enough to force me to parlay it....just see sotiropoulos as being a bit better...
anxious to see what the board culls out for this coming weekend....Comment -

Let's get this party started! Heading to the card on Saturday. Prolly the weigh-ins and autograph session as well on Friday. Pretty pumped up. Havent been to a card since WEC 47 in Columbus. Anyway, here's my first bet for the card. Truthfully, I should probably wait to play it as I expect the line to get better, but it's a price that I'm happy to lock in at.

#786Ya the arnolds fest is pretty big, a lot going on. It used to be great when the economy was on the up, you could walk out of there both days with hundreds of dollars worth of free supplements but the number of booths took a big drop. Speaking of economy im sure Detroit would love for me to make it to 123 haha. I did think about going but never found a partner to go with. I also dont know if I want to see page lose in person but I really hope we are wrong. I think im going to do one of those victory tax bets on machida and hope it loses.Comment -

#787Adding:
Rampage-Machida Over 2.5 Rounds (+120) 1.5 units to win 1.8 units
Pinny has this line while 5Dimes has goes the distance at -120. Rampage has an excellent chin and I believe Lyoto will be very cautious coming off of a KO loss where he got a little bit too aggressive. I expect a lot of circling and kicks from Lyoto in this one. I also wouldn`t be too surprised to see Rampage mix in some dirty boxing and a takedown attempt or two in this one if he can get inside, all using up more of the clock.Comment -

#788Adding:
BJ Penn (-155) 3.875 units to win 2.5 units
I obviously waited too long on the line for this one, but I needed to wait closer to fight time to see what I needed to see.

BJ Penn (-155) 3.875 units to win 2.5 units

#790Very solid bets. Particularly, the Rampage-Machida over 2.5 rounds. Machida's style doesn't look for a knockout in the early rounds, and Rampage will try, but probably will not prevail. So there's a very good chance it goes to 3 or more rounds.
I bet BJ Penn to get his shit together as well. Ol' Cabbage Patch lookin' mug.

Penn by Sub (+700) 0.35 units to win 2.45 units.Comment -

#797I wouldn't say I'm expecting a finish, but lets say I wouldn't be surprised. I'm on Penn by sub for a small amount but thats just because I see value in play. I don't see any way Hughes can finish this fight and I think BJ is going to fight smart and strategical which means he will most likely keep his distance and pick his shots. Hughes was able to finish Penn last time because of an injury and also because Penn's cardio was very bad based on the fact that he only had a 2 week training camp leading up to the fight. He's well prepared this time and Hughes doesn't have the arsenal to put him in any danger to get a finish. I can see BJ pulling off a sub if Hughes gets too sloppy with his shots and ends up on the bottom similar to their first fight. But I think Matt is durable from a damage standpoint, and won't get TKOed.Comment -
