Hopefully the Mets will get one tonight or tomorrow.
It would be unreal to witness a system loss fading San Diego. I will admit though that Pittsburgh's a mess lately and San Diego is on a kind of upswing.

Also, I managed to go through the September system losses, back to 2006, and here are the results:

>> 2010 (2 losses in September, 8 total in 2010)
fade Ch Cubs

>> 2009 (2 losses out of 4 total)

>> 2008 (2 losses out of 8 total)
tail Baltimore
tail Pittsburgh

>> 2007 (1 loss out of 3 total; yes, there were only 3 losses in 2007)

>> 2006 (1 loss, but I haven't checked 2006 for total losses)
fade LA Angels

So, over the last five years, the September losses amount to roughly 25% of all system losses (and there had always been at least one loss in September during that span).

It doesn't seem too scary actually and it obviously does have a lot to do with the fact that teams get extremely streaky nearing the end of the regular season. I will be playing the system games as usual, maybe lowering the unit size just a bit. I'll also be posting the updates until we're left with six games before the end of the regular season.

This is something I need to remember for next year, to explain how to move money between the lines after a loss, it's been working wonders for me with this system.

Think it may be best coming into late August to really cut down on unit size. As much as I'd like to see stats crushed it seems we are destined to lose in September, so everyone should be prepared for that. Still profit to be made if labbying properly, but be prepared to take a loss.

As for me, I've set a profit goal to hit this season and I'm inching towards it, slowly but surely. Right now my roll is lower than it should be but the labby will bring it back. Hopefully I can hit this goal before the September loss. Then I'll be set to really make some cash in the NBA! If they can hurry up with the lockout at least, don't make the fans suffer!

Amazing game in New York, where runs were scored only on homers.

I only played Wallco's pick (CWS -1,5) and Atari's (ARI -1, brilliant comeback there) yesterday to clear two of my lines and I'm feeling very comfortable ahead of the weekend. Fingers crossed for some shutouts tonight!

Can't wait to see what you come up with for next year pagodo! I can tell your serious about knocking out the books, and I'm very eager to join you!

I feel like my plan of action will be to stop when September rolls around, get a game plan ready for football, and start following some successful systems on that end a week or two into Sept. Normally I would play through to the end and start on the NBA a month or so later but the NBA may not pick up until January of next year if at all. And at that point the football season would be a month from finishing.

If it's a game 1 and you're not comfortable with the juice, skip it!
In the end, after the lines are cleared, it all comes back to you anyway, so it's always about the unit size and feeling comfortable with the amount of money in play.

I use TAB now and they're prices are low but really they come out so late with their lines AND on DBL Headers you can only bet the 2nd game by phone and at times they don't even publish that. Bet Fair is good for a portion of your roll. You can basically be a bookie. The platform just matches you up with another bettor and you pick the price. So the risk is you may not find another side of the price you are soliciting. But I like the pure open market idea.

Yeh I took TB for JM's C play (my first bet) and NYY at -1.5. I wasn't going to play the Cubs until a 5th game. But if those games look like blowouts in the 1st hour (I doubt) I may play CHC.
