#843Houston has just had a massive top 6th scoring five runs. Took the lead, 5-1. I'm tempted to watch the game, but I'm in Italy now and it's 3 am, I'm barely awake.
Looking at the scores, Oakland and Detroit got the job done, so the fade wave hit the spot again, we had a triple-game-1 hit yesterday and games 4 & 5 went out of the way tonight! Great stuff. Let's hope Houston holds on and the Dodgers manage to come through -- it would be an absolutely perfect round of results for the system.
What a difference a day makes!! If LAD won I would have capped off the greatest day of baseball betting I have ever had. Finished 9-1 with 3 C bets (Hou,Fla, Tex) 3 B bets (TB,Det,SF) Oak as an A bet and hit both my score in 1st innings plays.When Fla came back to win from being down 3-6 I really thought I had a chance to sweep the board. No complaints. Just need LAD to bring it home today.

#846My pleasure!
It's great that everyone got on the ride this week, it's been fabulous.
I managed to clear almost all of my lines and made ~30 units since Monday (Wallco, Shutout and some JM, also slowly but surely getting on board with the 1st inning strategy).
I'd love the Dodgers to win as I don't want to put up another 'loss' in the threadbut honestly, my 1+6 line has been cleared twice during the last week, so whatever, I'll make that loss up tomorrow or on Saturday, no big deal. Labby =
I'm doing a backtest on Wallco's system at the moment -- it would be up serious money (the posted plays) using an aggressive 4-strike labby and playing only plus run lines and underdogs. The shutout's a bit more modest, I think, but I'll have a full sim ready by the end of the season.
Good luck and see you tomorrow!Comment -

#847just stopping in to say congrats. I was thinking about you guys when those big wins came in with houston and LAD. I almost took them as my plays of the day but had to continue my -1 method a little longer. Pagodo, you haven't been around my thread for a few days or more, I'm still picking em, at 18-3 now.
Shut out system is very dear to me, because I spent so many hours tracking it and finding a way to make it work. I'm so glad it's working out for you guys right now. Keep it up!
once again 18-3

I have two separate lines for my personal system picks and I play your picks on these lines whenever I agree with your research. I'm currently 5-0 when playing your picks
You are absolutely rocking this sht right now, hope you'll ride this wave til October.
It has also been a brilliant couple of days for everyone who chased the final games of the shutout system. There was cash collected on fading LAA (Detroit scored game 5), and tailing Houston and LAD. Congrats!
There's some crazy plus money in tailing Oakland right now, so I'm playing that out. Am I mad or what.

#854I'll be on the road for most of the day tomorrow, so I might post the update later than usual.
I'm really rooting for the Royals tonight, there's only one line left that needs a workout and it's my shutout 'game 3+4 line'
Tailing Oakland is pretty much the most ridiculous thing I've ever done in my gambling/investing career, but I'm going to ride it out. If they get swept by Texas, they probably will finish the job against the Angels, but it won't be plus money anymore. Atari's on Texas tonight, but I don't trust Colby Lewis at all at the moment and it's Cahill vs Harrison tomorrow, so there is some hope that the dreadful A's pull a stupid win out of the blue for me.
Good luck and let's makeComment -

#855Managed to get this done quickly and I'm offline for the day.
And we have another ...... fade wave!
You're not the un-lucky charm anymore, thelimit.
The Royals went KABOOM at last and cashed beautifully. I'm just going to divide the Oakland losses through all my lines now and go into the All-Star break in perfect condition and with a healthy profit (this week was simply fantastic). The A's getting the win tonight would be the icing on the cake, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed. They were so close yesterday. Those walk-off home runs, love em or hate em, depending on which way you bet

#859EDIT - Was going to make a play post for the day, as I thought Pagodo was just having a hard time posting today, however I was blind to the fact that it's the break! No games until the 14th!
But this raises a question, will the Shutouts that happened on the 10th carry over or no?
Have a good one guysComment -

#860I was wondering the same thing, whether the shutout plays should carry over the all-star break. I went through my previous years' rundown for system losses occurring over that period and here's what I got:
2010 -- eight total losses, one over the break (tail LA Dodgers);
2009 -- four total losses, none over the break;
2008 -- eight total losses, none over the break.
Edit: I ran a check on 2005, 2006 and 2007 and there were no all-star break system losses either.

Of course we tail Texas / fade Seattle tonight as well!
One of my rare off days when there's so much going on, it's hard to focus.
I'm on the O's til the (hopefully not) bitter end. Looks very risky with Haren pitching for the Angels tonight (and JW tomorrow), but I'm doing this for the plus money
