Seems like a homer bet.. Especially with you going to the game.. Kazmir has been on as of late, Dodgers get owned by lefties, Haeger flat out sucks, and the Dodgers are the worst interleague team in baseball.. All that said, the Angels are only -130ish at home.. Maybe Vegas knows something, or maybe it's because public squares will be on the Dodgers to avoid the sweep. Angels or no play for me.

Looking at CC's road stats this year and taking into acount Padilla's career era against the Yankees and the way he has pitched this year one would think that the over should be closer to 9 9.5. With the over posted at 8.5 and it is currently getting pounded by the public I am thinking this one stays under. Dodgers may have scored 10 runs last night but they by no means were crushing balls. They are right around .500 against lefties this year and I really don't have a good feel on the game. Dodgers had a huge emotional victory last night and will most likely being come down from it. CC will probably go 7 innings and give up 2 or 3 and with an under at 8.5 I think that Vegas is saying Padilla is going to match him. Leaning under for now.

Under is getting more and more expensive as the day goes on yet the over is still getting pounded. I have a feeling Dodgers are going to win 3-2 in walk off fashion.

Thanks! Interesting ending to the game last night. Umpire called a strike at loney's chest then below his knees to end the game. Dodgers looked very pissed in the dugout and I think rightfully so. Not quite sure how they are going to react today. I am also not quite sure why everyone is jumping on the current line. I don't see much value in it. I am kinda scared that the line isn't moving like it did yesterday. Kuroda looked fantastic in his last start and Burnett has looked shakey lately. My guess on the ov un was 8.5 and it is exactly that. Probably going to take the game off unless something changes.

Ya those calls were horrible, i can see one but not 2 in a row. But on the other hand Loney knows that he has 2 strikes and needs to protect the plate in that situation.

Exactly, what it comes down to is loney has to swing the bat with 2 strikes.

Dodgers have been struggling with lefties this year. CC diced them up on Friday and they are maybe below .500 now on the year against them I am going to add the under. Petite is a veteran and has thrived in the limelight his whole career.

Mulling over last nights debacle I have come to a few conclusions. Dodgers are an extremely frustrated team and it is going to greatly effect their performance tonight. They could come out and score 10 runs or lay an egg.
Billingsly is coming off the dl and its his first start back. He was throwing much better his last couple starts before the time off. If someone can tell you exactly how he is going to pitch tonight then they should replace Honeycutt as the Dodgers pitching coach.
Couple of things we do know kids:
1. Dodgers own the NL West
2. Dodgers have been hitting better and cannot stay in this slump forever.
3. With a low total like 7.5 expect Billingsly to hold it together fairly well. (think 6 inn 2 or 3 runs)
4. Dodgers are about .500 against lefties this year

I am going to lay off this game but my lean is on the over. Billingsly probably won't go past the 6th and anyone worth a crap in the Dodgers bullpen is in much need of some rest.

Well Billingsly went 6 innings and gave up 2 runs just like i guessed.
Anyways in the something has to give category. Matt Cain is 0-7 lifetime against the Dodgers in 13 starts with a 4.12 era. Giants are going on a long road trip after this series and badly need this game. Dodgers continued their dominance over the NL West and are now 19-5 against them. If I end up taking the Giants tomorrow I will chase them on Wednesday. I am going to wait and see if the line moves at all.

Not going to play anything today either. I just don't trust the Dodgers. If SF has any pride they will win tonight. Line moved down in the Giants favor because everyone probably saw that Cain has never beat the Dodgers. I think at the current price you would be silly to bet against Cain. I am going to lay off again. Best of luck to all.

Well the line-ups aren't out yet but I can assume no Manny and most likely a few others. I do like the Dodger back-ups but the Giants absolutely are desperate for a win as they go on a 12 road game streak after this one. Line is moving how it should and Sanchez is going to shut the Dodgers down today. Their line-up is just not the same without Manny and I have a feeling Ethier might be out also.

Well the Giants are big pieces of crap but if you followed me we made up the losses and more yesterday by fading them and I am going to again today.
Before I give my input about the game today I would like to say everyone here on the form is backing the Dodgers. This never works out. No one is giving credit to Jackson and the Dbacks. Jackson 3 hit shut out the Dodgers in his last outing but lost 1-0 in LA. The Dodgers have been playing flat as hell all year coming off a days rest. Most likely Manny will be out again resting his hammy and they just aren't the same offensively without him. Furcal is finally hitting and the Dodgers really thrive when he is doing well but it wont be enough today. I will not be taking the Dodgers today but I haven't decided if I believe in the Dbacks enough to take them. Good luck today folks.

Exactly. That is one of the main reasons i am taking zona. That and every time Dodgers come off a days rest no matter how hot they were before they come out really flat and it screwed me a couple times earlier this year but i wised up and am going with the trend. Watch it tonight, they might not score until the 4th or 5th.
