Wow a lot of games today....

I think I am going to adjust my RL bets....if the team we are betting is a dog I will go with the RRL - but only on "A" bets - after that I am going money line....

Now watch as I say this the RRL after "A" bets will start hitting - always happens with me - you might want to go rogue now, and double these types of RRL B to D bets now.......

Darvish is on the mound for Texas...I'm not getting my hopes up(he's 4-1, 4.36 ERA against LAA and coming off a 7 innning scoreless outing)

Yea, I like the way this system runs too. As soon as I finish the school year and take my board exam I'm going to do some heavy backtesting. I'm also working on a couple of new systems that utilize the RL, hope too see some good trends when I backtest.

It just seems like this system, or more specifically chases that follow the RL, fly under the radar because favorites really don't have a huge impact...I mean just knowing that when a team wins, 70% of the time it will be by 2 or more...how has someone NOT gone to town on developing a system that takes advantage of that??

I have and I've backtested it as well....For all the doubter read post #423 from Stiflers chase thread last year where I had quoted the record as of that time. However I only bactested playing the dog for plus money, not on the RL. I've also developed a nice betting strategy for this system which before it was modified I had shared with JMD last year.

um its becoming typical for me.. any time i start with a new system that seems to be winning... i join.. it goes on a record loss -
atleast is not 30 unit games. but we will need some serious comeback

worst part about tha LAA game.. is Darvish isn't the reason Tex is winning.. its because the LAA pitchers suck bad.

I feel the same way, CBH and whiteboy...feels like it happens too often. You just have to be able to look objectively at how the system has been performing from the beginning of the year...

The system still shows good profit(with a lot on the line today), and it's also very early...this is just a pet project that some of us are taking a chance on. Only time will tell how this system plays out, but I'm eager to see how it handles.

As I said, starting in July I will be doing some backtesting and trying to find a way to utilize the RL with the 1-2-4-8 strategy so that at least we know how much we stand to lose on each series.

As for the people who have mentioned a reduced RL(going with -1) when the team at hand is a dog- I assume you are suggesting doing this in the hopes of reducing the overall cost of a series. Totally understandable, but just bear in mind that as compared to the way this is played under Stifler's regular systems, the cost of a loss is already significantly reduced from ~35units/series to 15. Just my $.02
