Our Lakers vs. Nuggets player props, based on the best NBA odds, believe Denver will end the Western Conference series in Monday’s Game 5.

The Los Angeles Lakers (47-35) snapped an 11-game losing streak against the Western Conference favorites, the Denver Nuggets (57-25), with a resounding 119-108 victory in Game 4. The win also helped the Lakers dodge being swept for a second consecutive year by the Nuggets.

For one, James should look to score more following a 30-point performance in his first elimination game. James averages 33.6 career points and 7.4 assists per contest when his team is facing elimination.

There is also a chance that the Nuggets roll, forcing James to throw in the towel in the second half. D'Angelo Russell Over 1.5 turnovers ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Lakers point guard D’Angelo Russell was better than expected in Game 4, scoring 21 points to go along with four rebounds and four assists. Russell only committed one turnover for the second straight game.

But just when Russell shows promise, he’s likely to follow that up with a poor performance. Russell committed four turnovers in his previous game in Denver, and it wouldn’t surprise me to see a similar showing against a locked-in Nuggets team defensively.

Nikola Jokic Over 0.5 blocks ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Speaking of locked-in defense, Nuggets big man Nikola Jokic will be better at limiting Anthony Davis in Game 5. Jokic swatted one shot in Game 4, but Davis finished with 25 points and 23 rebounds.

Jokic is better than he’s given credit for defensively, and that’s been especially true in this matchup. Jokic has recorded at least one block in eight of his previous 15 meetings with the Lakers.
