you get the handicap at +3.5 at even money for Kerber. not a bad bet and it covers up any injuries.Comment -

#4939Hard to back Tsonga right now after that long layoff. It's just his 2nd match. That being said, I think it's a toss-up because Felicity Lopez is pretty flakey.Comment -

#4942Just heinous. ML movement in tennis is over rated. Just means people with money put money on someone most often. Kerber is Monday morning around 7 or 8am ET.Comment -

#4946SIMON-WAWRINKA UNDER 23.5 [-120]
Hard to believe these guys haven't played before. Gut feeling on this one is that either with Wawrinka with very little match play or Simon packing it in after a tough season where he's worked through injuries will get beat in straight sets today.Comment -

#4956SANTONJA-SUAREZ NAVARRO OVER 21 [-110]
Giving this a whirl on the indoor hard courts in Linz. Neither girl is worth a damn on this surface as they both prefer slower surfaces, especially clay. Suarez Navarro did make the QFs here last year which is why you find her as the favorite. Still, that seems like an abnormal blip on the radar for her. Lifetime, Santonja is 5-11 on indoor hard courts, Suarez Navarro sports a fancy 10-15 record. Both lost Beijing qualis last time out, so they are both on equal footing. Just think this might be a weird one and not lopsided as the odds/total might suggest. We'll see.Comment -

#4957CHALLENGER PARLAY: MANNARINO + LACKO [+185]
Both guys playing on the indoor courts at Rennes today. Mannarino draws Bohli. Mannarino is one of the in-form players on the Challenger level this summer having won the Mons indoor event last week. These two met in July in a Challenger final on an outdoor hard surface with Bohli winning a third set tie break. Since then, Mannarino has gone on to make three more finals with one title. Bohli hasn't been poor, but he did lose in the 2nd round at Mons last week to Dustin Brown. Mannarino has shown better consistency and is the pick for me. Lacko draws Mahut. Lacko has recent match play on the indoor surface in Metz in late September, showing well with a win over Clement and tight loss to Cilic. Mahut played the same event, getting through qualis and then getting smashed by Zverev. Mahut has been battling a bad back since August, withdrawing from a pair of tournaments due to this condition. Both are capable on this surface at their best, but I'll side with Lacko who has shown a little better this year in these conditions.Comment -

#4959Not sure on Nadal-Wawrinka. He'll have had off pretty much 48+ hours to recover. Maybe a small play, but Shhhtanny Wawrinka [The Swiss fans at the Open cracked me up because they kept yelling for "Shtanny"] was not totally impressive against Simon, more of Simon being poor I think. Could improve though since it was his first match back in a bit. I think Nadal will lose before the semis, but maybe not here.Comment -

#4960Blah. Total misses. Santonja lost 1st set 6-3. 2nd set was on-serve at 3-3, she goes up 40-0 on her own serve and winds up losing the game and the set, 6-3. Nice.Comment -

#4964I think I am gonna pass tonight. Looked at the Shanghai lines, don't really feel much there - of course, I suck so I'm gun shy. Maybe Isner-Fed total at 21.5. Thought over, but if Federer comes out firing he could trash Isner who is probably going to be tired.Comment -

#4968WEDNESDAY CHALLENGER PLAY
[RENNES] DANCEVIC +100
This pops off soon at 9:30am ET according to my book or therabouts depending on current play. Dancevic draws the talented Bulgarian Dimitrov. Dimitrov has been in superb form here of late, winning a couple of hard court Challengers. However, this quick indoor surface could give Dancevic all he needs to compete. Dimitrov is still very green on this surface with a 5-9 career mark. He's certainly capable, but if Dancevic serves like he did on his first round match - he will have a chance. He had 12 aces and won 97% of his points on 1st serve and 70% plus on 2nd serve. Dimitrov will be a stiff challenge, but taking a shot here.Comment -

He'll choke like all my recent picks.
