CHALLENGER PLAY: KENDRICK [-155]
He draws de Voest who is a solid player, but as I said yesterday this is a tournament Kendrick really excels at. Both have played well this week, but I'm going to ride the guy who is slightly better on this surface. I think you could parlay this with either of the favorites at Buenos Aires and feel decent about your shot of cashing it.

Will be fading Nadal tonight and in his 1st round match in Shanghai potentially if he plays someone with a pulse. I think the heavy schedule here of late is wearing Rafa down. He did a great job of managing himself during the year, but he seems to be tiring. He also falls into the formula where I like taking the opposition in that he scored less points than Troicki in taking the match last night. Monfils has also played very well this week and appears to be shooting his load this week which will make him a good fade in Shanghai as well me thinks. He's gotten at least one taste of victory against Nadal, so even though he's 1-6 I think against him ... if Monfils just "goes for it" I think he has a legit shot.

Nadal battled to win his game vs Troicki so I guess Monfils will give him a tough test as well, and the price is enticing for a 3 set game, good luck!

Yeah, getting in 90% on 1st serve, but only winning in the 60s. This is gonna be over early.

Really though the best chance Monfils had was to prolong this match to 3, we'll see if he sacks up or packs up.

Oh well, Feasel of course picks today to play like a punk ass. Rafa was not broken or really ever threatened on serve. Getting to play a quick match like this could mean a fresher than expected Rafa next week in Shanghai. 2nd set was competitive, but the match was already over since Rafa trashed him in the opener.

SUNDAY CHALLENGER PLAYS

DARCIS [-145]
KENDRICK [-140]

Darcis is in his home country in a final against Mannarino. Both have served well, but Darcis seems to be getting more cheap points off his serve. Darcis has progressed in each of his last three trips to this Challenger from QF to SF to Final. Gut feeling is Darcis gets it done at home. Kendrick again at a Challenger he has won before against the Australian Millman who has never won a title as a pro. Probably a good pairing to parlay if you don't want to spend the chalk.

Well EP, still trying to find out if they have tennis betting here in St Marteen, nobody can give me a straight answer..If they do Im all over it.

The Russian was one of the in-form players on hard courts following the US Open. She got derailed against Li last week, but draws a beatable Coco Vandeweghe today. Coco had a nice little run in Tokyo, but reverted to getting beat last week on the ITF level. She can compete on her best days, but those days are often hard to predict.
