I was thinking about isner too. More of just a gut feeling than anything. Care to share your thoughts on that one? Thx

Also why is Isner favored by this much here? They are 2-2 H2H and Isners 2 wins were on hard surface. Berdych's on clay.

You're deluding yourself if you think Berdych played well.

He didn't play great. All I'm saying is that was probably Raonic best serving game this year. Nothing Berdych could do

I'm thinking Querry as well. I think old man Hass's second wind has finally caught up to him. Querry playing solid as well.I think retirement for Hass is within this next year. Good luck.

If the roof is closed should help Querry as he has the bigger serve. It becomes an indoor match.

No dice for Sambo. Roof is closed on these Stadium Court matches. They are the only ones being played today and Tuesday most likely due to the Typhoon.

dimtrov is so overrated (IMO, many probably wouldnt agree with me but that's understandable). I picked nishikori today (didn't bet), Dimitrov has really been playing quite crap even more so ever since he got with sharapova lol.

I don't think you would find much argument about Dimitrov from anyone who pays attention. I thought the shift indoors would allow him to at least serve well, but no. Tough start to the week. Hopefully now that the weather clears, it will be more level.

He's just not consistent enough. He's just in that patch where he just doesn't give a shit, Nishikori has been pretty off himself lately and still got by Dimitrov quite easily. I'm sick of how often he gets pushed up just because he has similar strokes to fed. I'll give him that he has a better backhand power wise than fed but to look (copy) like fed is one thing but to play like him is another. Not that I have anything against the guy, i mean i can see potential but till he even hones it to some extent he's overrated in my eyes.

                                                              EP,

I have a much higher level of confidence in my ability to cap totals than spreads and MLs.

Is it "different strokes for different folks," or do you believe totals are easier to cap in the long run than spreads and moneylines?

Totals offer you more options in general, I think. Instead of trying to load up on high chalk lines for parlays, you might play an under if you think someone is going to get crushed. If you have a 50-50 type of match, you might find it better to take an over if you think it's going to be competitive rather than sweating out a ML bet on either side.

I wouldn't say easier, just more options. Same with spreads really. If you expect a tight match where the dog might win ... and you get a big number like +4 ... you can play more conservative and go that route vs. trying for the big score with the ML. Look at guys like Anderson and Kohlschreiber as prime examples today. Almost pulled off the upset ... but lost, but covered the spread.

Best bet if you feel you can get an edge is to bet it live, but otherwise you have no clue how he is going to be after getting treatment for a day. He basically won because of his serve yesterday against Kohlschreiber. He usually beats up Haas, so I really don't like Haas in that spot unless you know for sure Del Potro is going to play at a C or D level due to the fever.

Delpo is usually fairly honest about injuries, etc... And if he had the flu I doubt 24 hours is enough for him to recover. He's also been playing a lot of tennis and Haas was in control of the last match they played in Washington before the rains came. I recall Haas being ticked about that. I think at +190 it's certainly worth a shot.
