I am staying at Caesars, but the game I play to waste time (Pai Gow Tiles) was closed when they almost never close that game and I wasn't in the mood to play $100 baccarat since it was late (2 am) and I was a bit tired, so I said to my wife that we should try Hard Rock (less than a mile away) since she should have a $20 free slot play there.

On the road to Hard Rock which I have traveled thousands of time, we were literally stuck on every single red light and in 30 years I have never seen anything like that as these traffic lights are timed and it cannot be like that all of sudden where I get stuck on every light. So, I told my wife that this is some type of warning sign and maybe we shouldn't even go there to play.

Sure enough, the Tiles dealer was running freaking hot and everyone at the table was losing badly and the dealer told me that it has been that bad all night. The table was full when I first got there, but three of the 5 players left as they lost it all. 4th had only $50 left and he lost it all soon after, so I had 4 spots to play. My first intuition was that you cannot win and I should just leave without playing and go back to Caesars to sleep. But, my stupid head said give it a try and that was a big mistake as I proceeded to lose $2K in a matter of less than 1/2 hour and it's hard losing that kind of money at that game. I lost badly because I was betting bigger and bigger thinking I should win at some point. I was sorely mistaken as the LIAR kept on mounting.

At least I was smart enough to walk away from that table and go to $100 baccarat and bought in $3K.

Betting $100 a hand will never get my $2K loss back as I need to win 20+ hands which is extremely difficult to do in baccarat.

My intuition said to bet a certain way where I would bet $500 with my selection criteria and let it ride twice, which then I win $500, $1,000, and $2,000. That would net $3,500 which means I'm up $1,500 and I would quit.

I did the first $500 bet and won, but my selection criteria said one way but I bet the other way (my stupid head telling me some bullshit trend which wasn't there) for $500 and lost.

It turns out, if I followed my first intuition then I would have won 3 in row for a win amount of $3,500 minus the commission and I would have left Hard Rock.

Instead, I'm running 2 to 3 losses in a row of $500 bets and 1 win of $1,000 to $1,500 so every 3 to 4 hands I'm going back to even minus the commission.

I'm getting pissed since if I lost any of those $1,500 bets, I'm down $5K.

I calmed myself down and decided to wait for the best of my selection criteria instead of betting every hand and that worked out somehow and I recovered all my losses ($4K down at the lowest) and won $20. I quit at that point, but because of the $70 comp dollars that I earned, it's worth $301 in the buffet money (costs me $10 comp dollars for $43 buffet price per person). I got extremely lucky that I didn't lose the big bets ($1,500 bets) since if I did, then I would most likely bought in another $10K and start betting $1k a hand. Who the hell knows what would have happened then.

Bill, my offer of free room and free food at Caesars Laurel lounge is still available as long as I'm in AC. If you like to drink, then it's all you can drink alcohol in the player lounge, but obviously you can get the same while playing in the casinos minus the premium drinks.

I don't know what the alcohol drink rule is in the PA casinos, but California is the worst as they charge for drinks. I'm guessing PA is the same as NJ; all free alcohol drinks while playing.

The table minimum is $15 in any of the casinos around here for craps as far as I know, but it's possible that some may have $10 minimum.

I will have to look around, but today being Friday I'm sure there won't be any $10 minimum for craps.

Looking at what's on YouTube, it doesn't look like it.

Didn't know Boyd owns that casino. They should have NEVER sold their share of Borgata to MGM.

Ever since MGM fully took over Borgata, everything became 1/3 or worse as far as comps are concerned.

It took me at most 1 month to get their Black Label before MGM took over. It now takes forever to get their Gold because MGM is so freaking cheap.

and wow they even give me match play $15 $5 n $10 tickets i cant even get food comps at parx casino

i have great luck at valley forge on craps only thing is most nights they die off and table is closed but other table is $25 min

7 out 7 out 7out 5 times around 7 players i just do not even hedge bets any more by placing the point for enough to win something

    like say point is 6 or 8 $15 dp lay $6 wins 5 place point for $18 wins $21 7 out i pickup $15 +$15 +$6 +$5 = $41 total out was 21 + 18 =$39 but you do not subtract $18 from $41 because it's already deducted if point is made i win back $39

betting wrong is the way to go long run most players get results in 5 throws and i love PSO point 7 out point is whatever next throw 5 secs 7 out and all them others place bets go bye bye dealers stacking red green black chips

Planning on hitting up that Caesars 5 night trip to Atlantis in the Bahama’s since I’m Diamond Elite. Anyone take that offer up yet who reached that level? Looking for reviews.

On the way back to my room at Caesars, I saw this guy playing craps by himself and he lost 4 in a row for about $180. Funny thing is that he was doing Martingale on Don't Pass for the first 3 bets which all lost because he kept on hitting the points but he changed to Pass on his 4th bet and he crapped out on the first throw. As soon as he changed from Don't Pass to Pass, I could see it losing a mile away. LOL

Had he stuck with Don't Pass with his 4th bet, he would have been even instead of losing.

That's like Zig Zagging the wrong way playing baccarat.

I found a baccarat strategy which has been working pretty good. It won't win me a lot of money, but it definitely prevents me from losing so it's a good strategy when there is nothing but chaos which is the case for the most of time and everyone loses when it's a total chaos.

This guy lost $10K in a matter of 15 minutes betting $1K per hand. I could tell that he was relatively new to baccarat since he was asking the dealer why Banker did not draw in certain situations.

If he knew my bet selection criteria, then he could have doubled his money instead of losing it all. His commission was $300 before he left with nothing, but he still had a ton of cash in his backpack when he opened it to take cash out to pay his commission. My guess is that he want over to the high roller pit to play $100 minimum blackjack, because he was walking that way.

Since I'm bored, I might go down and check how he is doing...

What have you been playing to make Diamond Elite?

It isn't easy to make that player level as you need 75K tier points.

Considering how cheap Eldorado is with the tier points, it would take a ton of hours or large average bets to make that player level. Or, play a lot when they have #X tier point offers.
