    Is Ja Morant A Thug?

    Following a game between the Indiana Pacers and Memphis Grizzlies on Jan. 29 in Memphis, acquaintances of Grizzlies star Ja Morant aggressively confronted members of the Pacers traveling party near the team’s bus in the loading area of FedExForum, and later someone in a slow-moving SUV — which Morant was riding in — trained a red laser on them.

    The two members of the traveling party who spoke to The Athletic said that they did not see who shined the laser from the SUV. They also don’t know if the laser was attached to a gun, but they believed it was. A Pacers security guard in the loading area at the time remarked: “That’s 100 percent a gun.”

    “We felt we were in grave danger,” one person who was present said. The two sources who spoke to The Athletic requested anonymity because they fear retribution from those who confronted them. They said they considered filing a report with police but decided against it for the same reason.

    i think he is involved with the wrong people. his dad seems to be a schmuck too.

    Kravitz and Amick provided a timeline of events, noting Morant's father, Tee, and friend, Davonte Pack, verbally sparred with members of the Pacers at times during the game.
    It reached a point that Pack was removed from the floor after things got particularly heated, but he was among the four to five men who were shouting at the Pacers traveling party in the bus loading area after the game.

    Not all, but too many pro athletes think they are tough street guys. Reality is they went to private school, never had real jobs, don't know the struggle. They skated by on their athletic talent, full ride scholarships to the colleges. Yet they choose the ghetto lifestyle.

    As far as his thug entourage, the NBA should come down hard on them...maybe not allow them to attend games.

    As far as the Grizzlies embracing the villain role on the court, i love it and wish more American sports teams would do that! I'm sick and tired of all these players across sports all buddy buddy before, during and after games.

    I know Manny it's terrible but for the 20 + years I've lived and voted in Tennessee I've done all my one vote can do to change the leadership of the state and get it going in a different direction . Maybe next vote but I doubt it. It's Tennessee so expectations are low

    Off the top of my head I can name at least half dozen 'must see' professional players/events I'd put in front of that flashy PG, and on that list is a washed up Tiger playing in a PGA major tournament.

    Mahomes is on that list, Judge, every time he steps into that batters box is on that list too.
