Why was Brian Flores fired ?

    I think that is ridiculous.

Nagy I can see, Fangio, etc. Flores? No.

Good take, 'ball. What did they expect?

Guy rallied the team and got them to within one more win from playoffs. What do they think he's working with? Liquid gold?

Nothing to be confused about but having a losing record is not sweet. He just did not win at the end of the day. In the NFL business and football world you have to win right now. This is not about having 8 wins a season or making the playoffs once and while. Coaches are paid to win Championships.

Rams should get rid of Raheem Morris and hire Flores immediately.

I wouldn't want to coach in Miami either. Flores coaches them to 7 straight wins and 8 of final 9 games
    with a mediocre roster.

He will be signed real soon. Denver?

He was doing great. Miami F'd up when they took TuaItonguewhenIblowya which has nothing to do with the Coach. I bet there are some underlying things going on about personalities not meshing and Brian Flores will no doubt end up coaching some other team and probably kick full ass for years. Then again if he goes to the Jets, he just may be dumb.

Dolphins just can't get over the hump every year. Not a horrible team not a horrible coach. Just not winners. Some one had to go now to become winners.

Flores is a good defensive coach MOST of the time. The Dolphins were hung out to dry too many times in big games and the defense came up short. If your specialty(defense)doesn't show up in the big games, then there is no way you can be consistent. Flores will get another job soon but he better get a team with a great QB and mediocre defense because defense is what cost the Dolphins under his tenure, not offense. That pop gun offense should have been enough to win most weeks because it was efficient if not potent.

Lol look at that winning streak. The Texans, the Mighty Panthers, the Juggernaut Jets twice and Saints with a 3rd string QB who’s name I can’t remember off the top of my head. Guy only got the job because A. He’s black and B. He worked for Belichik. He’s not qualified to be an nfl head coach.

You beat who is in front of you. With your logic, the dolphins could do no right. If they lose those games, they are trash. But winning them means nothing.

They refuse to fire Chris Grier like they should and always try to find someone else to blame. The dolphins o-line is trash, the whole roster is weak only a good player here and there sprinkled in. Grier screws up every draft, tries to prove he is smarter than other GMs but instead proves the opposite.

    Well facts are facts

    He missed the playoffs, again

    New England is back

Black HCs do not have a history of success

So...if you're a NFL owner and the Bills & Patriots are playoff teams for the next 5 years; and Jets have a 1st rd QB who seems to have turned a corner, you need to do something to get to 10 or 11 wins, and having "one if the boys" as your HC ain't gonna cut it.

Did I forget the Giants? My logic is you can’t give a guy credit for putting out a fire he started. I never said they were trash but let’s not give them credit for compiling a 7 game streak when 5 of those teams did not even possess NFL talent on the field. How about not get rid of Kyle Van Noy, they are still paying him too.

Sooo….why would they hire a black coach then? You say a lot of stupid shit. Colts coach should have been the first one fired today for that choke job. Pats beat up on bad teams as well, they aren’t going anywhere with that group.

Fats if I had to guess some of “the blacks” had a history of success pounding your old lady or sisters and now you are mad because you had to watch in the corner or under the bed...gotta be severely emasculating knowing you can’t throw down like that

Because his team had wrapped up a playoff spot with the clock winding down toward zero all tied up in overtime and he called time out and mucked it all up.

    Oh wait, that was Staley.

If you watch some of the Flores press conferences, I just got the feeling he could rub people the wrong way. I think the whole organization is a bit messed up. It was probably time for a change. We'll see.

Nobody wants to admit black coaches cannot win in NFL.

1 guy, Tomlin, riding the skeletal remains of Ben, has done it (Dungy beat another black coach).

That's it. For 60 years we've watched the game evolve away from a ground and defense oriented game where mental edge wasn't really as relevant as X&Os.

Today it's on time analytic play coupled with QB relationships. It's a game that has evolved beyond the black mind.

It's a game that can only be won by a QB & Offensive coach on the same page and guess what...it's NEVER going to be Tua & Flores or Lamarr & Tomlin or Mahomes & say...Less Frazier or J Fields and...say Eric Bienemy.

    It ain't happening.

Only a borderline genius HC (just guessing white) and a incredibly stable and disciplined QB will ever win in this league going forward. There will never be a defense oriented HC to win a SB again...so Tomlins days are numbered as well.
