No thoughts on the total. I think the Falcons flatten the Cowboys though for the exact same reason they beat down the Eagles. The Falcons are just too technically sound for a deeply flawed team like the Cowboys to beat. Dallas will make playcalling mistakes, turn the ball over, etc. The Cowboys big strength is their pass defense, but I think Ryan & crew are so precise in their passing play execution that it's not the edge in this game that it would normally be.

It will be very interesting to see where this line goes over the course of the week. TAMU are a very good team that doesn't get the respect they deserve. Coming off a huge win vs LSU, I think Bama is in a prime spot for a letdown, and the +14 is a very strong play against an Aggies team that will bring everything they have for this game.

For anyone that's interested, this book, while not directly related to sports betting, is a great read on the topic of risk management in high stress environments (stock trading), focusing on neuroscience to explain how we can better control the ups and downs associated with winning and losing. A very worthwhile investment.

Do you have a method for your live betting? Or do you just bet on the team you thought was going to win if they get down early? I've been slightly profitable on live betting (PIT yesterday), but am usually gun shy to put any serious coin on it. I like that youre on the LIONS, I got them at +3.5 next week (bet before yesterdays games)

75% of the time, I have a decently strong opinion about the game before I live bet it, but I didn't like the pregame line. The rest of the time I'm making the decision on the fly based on what's happened so far, or just taking a position on one side of a game when I expect to be able to buy back for a profit on the other side (especially after an early score).

The only cardinal rule should be to NEVER take a worse line/price than you could have gotten before the game started.
