Have you watched Golden State's last two games?
They came form 21 down to beat the T'Wolves and then they were about to beat the Hornets when a miracle happened. I thought they would try to lose as well to make sure they try and stay in the top 7 picks so they don't risk losing it to Utah. From the way they've been playing. They don't seem like a team trying to lose even with all their stars out.
Don't think I would ever play a -245 money line favorite. Especially in the last game of the season which has no meaning for either club except the probability on a ping pong ball ....Comment -
Young pro ballers don't tank for unselfish reasons. See for this to work NBA players have to be unselfish. Why tank so someone can come and replace your spot? There are selfish reasons to tank and this isn't one of them. Terrible angle.

No I don't watch NBA at all, but I like to put money on team with something to play for.
Today I'm also on atlanta and Boston, coz I read somewhere that they are playing for home court. I think Chicago and Memphis also playing for home court, but they are double digit favourite that why I don't take them.
I bet a little more on spurs -4.5 and ML becoz their opponent got incentive to lose.

What did the Spurs have to play for? If they had something on the line then they would of been more of a -200 money line favorite. They had nothing to play for which was evident by the fact that none of the main starters played any minutes.
Even with 5 rookies playing for Golden State, the spurs only won by 6 and entered the 4th Q only up two points.
Atlanta and Boston were different scenarios. The spurs play was just a bad play that you happened to hit ...Comment -

-Rose good to go tomorrow
-Tyson Chandler has the flu and according to the coach has a 'strong possibility' of missing tomorrows game vs Heat. However whether rotoworld say they would be shocked to see him not out there
-Ray Allen has a 60% chance of playing vs Hawks on sunday
-Paul Millsap should be available but at less than 100%
GL to all in the playoffs. Hopped on at under 179 with a 1.25x stake, just missed the hook by minutes but as I speak its at 178 so I'm glad I got 179.

5dimes has +9900 odds on the lakers - celtics NBA finals. I know that both teams are older and not the same teams they were 2 years ago but it feels like this is great value. Any thoughts LTA. I know I'm probably throwing 100 dollars away but this feels that it isn't impossible.Comment -

This sets up perfectly for a big play on the under later in the series, but in this first game the books are daring us to take the over by giving us nice value. Well, I'm never one to pass up value and I like the over in this game. I have the total set just under 176.5 giving us almost a full three points of value. One thing you will learn this playoffs is that money is to be made on big plays on the under (I will have some 5x'ers I am sure), however, the under is rarely the right play in the first game of the playoff series before the intensity and pressure really inflates (except for a celts/hawks matchup lol). In this game, even though the two teams are defensive specialists, they can also both hit 90 points with ease, especially when you consider the Bulls improved offense overall with more dependable shot makers then last year's playoffs and Philly's improved offense in the last ten or so games of the regular season. Bottom line is this play provides us with a nice value play with relatively neutral refs and if it hits will give us more value on a game 2 under play with a nice zig zag possibility. The playoffs are all about the zig zag theory and you will see me employing that consistently through the championship. Based on the foregoing, I am rolling with the over for 1x. Good luck.Comment -

I think Mikey is thinking with his heart more than his head with that comment. However, with that said, I would put the Celtics as the fourth most dangerous team out of the East behind the Bulls/Heat in tier one, then the Pacers and then the Celts, Knicks, Atlanta, Philly and Orlando. About a month ago and a half ago, I thought the Magic might be a nice sleeper pick, but those dreams faded with Van Gundy and the Howard injury.Comment -
I agree with this assessment. I don't believe the two best teams in the East are scared of anyone. That being said, I believe both teams would rather see the Celtics in the second round rather than the Pacers. Even though the Bulls won in 5 against the Pacers last year, those games were close and the Pacers beat em up physically, setting the tone for a worn down Rose the rest of the playoffs.Comment -
I'm glad that if we beat Philly then we play Celtics/Hawks instead of the Pacers. Pacers I think could of posed us problems and ran the series deep, I think if we get to the next stage we beat either team 4-2. Not scared of the Hawks at all so would prefer them to the Celtics but I think most Bulls fans agree that they wouldn't be that bothered about the Celtics. Completely disagree that we would have to go through them to win the East, Celtics would be a clear underdog in the seriesComment -
Also, really liking Thunder/Magic under 193.5. Dallas will try and slow this one down rather than run with OKC imo and wouldn't be surprised with them stealing a win on the roadComment -

Do you not remember the Heat Celtics series last year, after the heat won the 2nd round series they acted like they were world champions???? Thats for a reason....Because both Wade and Lebron have not beaten the Celtics throughout there whole career. And the Celtics were not even healthy, in the least bit.
I am 100% thinking with my heart...but no one knows the Celtics better than me and from a basketball standpoint I really think there going to make a deep run.Comment -
