NBA 2011-2012 Season

71 - 61 = +12.05x

A couple of solid wins with the Heat under and Lakers under raising our record to 7-1 on plays of 2x or more. Nevertheless, a disappointing loss on the Jazz/OKC over by 4 points kept us from having a huge night. Some of these 200 or higher totals will start cashing and it's almost here. Onto Wednesday, good luck.

Liking the Thunder play tomorrow at Houston. Line is at -3 on Pinny. Seems like the OKC starters will be well rested after the beating they gave to utah in the first 3 quarters.

OKC at - 4, still likin' it though. No way that line could've stayed at -3. They played two games already on back to backs, the Thunder won 109-94 in OKC and then 98-95 in Houston, but they also dominated the Rockets in the second game despite not covering. Starters fully rested for tommorow, while Lowry played 39 minutes last night, Scola and Parsons also over 30, Dalembert 27. Martin got benched and is really in a dreadful slump right now.

Over also looks very appealing @ 203.

Really impressed with Jeremy Lin's aggressiveness in driving to the hoop and his ability to hit pressure shots.

People are comparing this kid to Tebow, but I think that is unfair to Lin. Tebow does not have the physical tools to have long term success in the NFL. However, based on what I've seen so far, Lin has most physical tools to be successful and a great basketball mind. Im not saying this guy will be a perennial all star, but he should get a guatanteed contract and be a top 7 rotation type guy. This is a very impressive run.

Hawks (-1.5) 1x (Locked)

Just because the suns rested nash and hill last night does not make them the play. I think that is a red herring. Atlanta is the superior team according to the advanced stats on both offense and defense, with a dominating edge on the defensive side. Atlanta should give us max effort tonight after getting embarrased by the lakers where the hawks stars played very poorly (e.g. Johnson 1-8 from long distance, etc.). The hawks missed some shots against a tough laker defense and I think they make those shots tonight against this cupcake suns defense. In addition to last nights debacle, atlanta is playing with revenge after losing to the suns at home as -8 faves not too long ago. The books are not showing much deference to the suns for that win and installed them as +2 dogs with no adjustment. Even though atlanta is in a fatigue spot, they have performed well going 6-1 ats on b2b all season. Statistically, this is one of the biggest mismatches on the board today and I have atlanta set at -3.5. Based on the foregoing, I am rolling with the hawks for 1x. Good luck.

love the play lta, also i love portland tonight - i don't think the warriors can cover 4 games in a row against a better team (maybe not talented, but a much better team than the suns)

No. Roll with it. If it moves to -2 or more, just look at it as you getting a good number. You must be a rookie? Gambling is not for the weak hearted. Roll with it and good luck. I grabbed it at -2 earlier, then the number went back to -1.5. I think this is a smart play.

Hi LTA and the gang. I am back now. NFL season is over and My health issues are coming near to an end which is awesome.

Getting lonely with no NFL so going to get back into NBA even if I cannot stand to watch the game.

From what I gather, some games are better left unwatched. :-)

Thunder/Rockets over (200) 1x (Locked)

I am a little surprised this total dropped so low with pinny juicing up the under 201 at (-113), but i realize houston overs have not fared well when set at 200 or more and a lot of guys like this under. However, as soon as I saw 200, I had to jump on the over. You have two top ten teams in OEFF, EFG%, PACE, possessions per game and other advanced offensive categories. On defense, both teams are improving but because both teams are on a b2b I believe that fatigue will hurt their collective defensive effort and the players will concede more shots than usual. I expect this game to end as a shootout, especially considering that okc's best defensive guard in sefolosha is out and both martin and lowry will play (unlike the last time these teams met). The ref assignments are extremely favorable with three of the best "over" refs in zarba, fraher and kogut. I have this game set at 205 giving us 5 points of value. Based on the foregoing, I am roling with the over for 1x. Good luck.
