With the WNBA season getting underway, Craig from well-known WNBA picks service Right Angle Sports called into the SBR.tv studios to do a phone Q&A with SBR.tv's Peter Loshak. Craig was shy about revealing valuable specifics, but he answered a few general questions about the method behind the magic at RAS.

#4Explain to me how he is the best service for the WNBA when he lost units last yr? Had a 46-42 record minus almost 3 units. Just curious how you guys came up with that, and how he thinks he is the best? ThanksIf it seems to good to be true it usually is!!

So their service as a whole was profitable, but full game wagers alone were not.Comment -

Plus the contraction of the WNBA, with the Monarchs folding, has also affected rosters.
Hell the average WNBA roster has at least 6 new players.Comment -

#14WNBA is like a turd in the punchbowl. They need to just quit trying to be real and go play for fun, these broads can earn more betting on the games than in salary, something is wrongComment -

I was just asking how he is the best in the business with a negative record last year.. It is a legidimate question. If it seems to good to be true it usually is!!

#23Nice job with the interview Peter & Craig.
When you consider overall past results in WNBA as well as CBB, how influential the plays are in the WNBA market, and how well the plays consistently beat the closing line (+2.57 point average first 7 plays of 2010), HoopsEdge should be considered one of the top WNBA handicapping services.
Other than RAS, I know of no way to just "join" a syndicate (and yes, obv, I'm labelling RAS a kind of a syndicate; it's a publicly available one). -PokerJoe Oct 2010Comment -

#29We could probably argue all day on who is a top WNBA service and who is not. People evaluate services differently. Long term results, short term results, closing line value, pricing, release time, widely available numbers, accuracy of records, reputation, endorsements, longevity, and responsible marketing are all some of the many different criteria to consider.
One thing not up for debate is that HoopsEdge has by far the most influence on the WNBA market of any service out there right now.
This might change at some point in the future, but that alone is merit for being considered currently one of the top WNBA handicapping services.Other than RAS, I know of no way to just "join" a syndicate (and yes, obv, I'm labelling RAS a kind of a syndicate; it's a publicly available one). -PokerJoe Oct 2010Comment -
