You say miracle, I say stupid. I sat there and yelled at the TV FOUL FOUL FOUL and Boston must have wasted about 10 seconds and I was saying well F it, it's over and then Rasheed comes in and fouls him for no reason. I'll take it because Kobe should have had 30 plus last night easy, but shot like a freaking YMCA rec league guy and then didn't really seem to be aggressive in trying to have the ball in his hands down the stretch. I'm not really sure how the Lakers won last night. That game was ugly as F for both teams. And Ray Allen, wow - I bet some people got burned on taking the OVER prop for points for him.

Kobe certainly took enough shots...I don't know if the NBA has ever seen a bigger gunner. He takes a lotta shots that have no chance of being close, much less going in. Then he gets lauded for averaging 28-30. A high schooler or college player would firing like that would find himself on the bench with super glue on his butt.

Prop #52: [Game 4] Kevin Garnett Total Points OVER 15.5 [-110]
Obviously fouls will play a large role in determining this and I for one would like to see one of these damn games not have a thousand fouls called in the 1st quarter. In any case, KG was the one thing that went right for the Celtics in Game 3 on offense. He hit 11 of 16 from the field and Coach Doc Rivers sounded upset that Garnett didn't get more touches than he got. The key for KG is to be aggressive when he gets the ball. None of that stand around, try to back the defender down or am I gonna shoot a face-up jumper or am I not crap. Get the ball, make a move quick and live with the end result. That's what KG did in Game 4. Add into the mix here the possibility that KG may see more time going against Lamar Odom in Game 4 if Bynum cannot go or is limited in minutes and I like this shot even better. Gasol would slide to play Center most likely if Bynum is out or limited, meaning Odom gets KG because Perkins would have too much bulk for Odom to match with IMO.

If he gets the shot attempts, he gets this. He had 16 in Game 1 with 16 shot attempts. 25 in Game 3 with 16 shot attempts. Game 2 he had six shots I think total. He's not going to shoot 11 of 16 again, but if he makes 7 or 8 and has a handful of FT attempts, it's possible.

Just root for the Lakers, the less games probably the better for that one. You're in pretty good shape so far.

Doc Rivers rotations kill me. He left Perkins on the bench for the whole 4th quarter last game when Bynum was a no-go. Could have gotten some advantage with that. Now KG.

KG has been out for half the second quarter. If he doesn't log heavy 2nd half minutes, this won't even be close. Can't score if you can't get on the damn court. Hopefully he goes into ball hog mode when he gets in and puts up some shots and MAKES some.

That seems to be the way the series has gone.........hit & misses. Just when you expect someone to do it, they are cold. Players jumping out of the blue, Allen's 3's to none next game, Big baby last night. This sucks for props.
I thought Gasol was probably a decent shot for over 20.5 last night. He got his 21, but I couldn't find just the scoring prop, everything else was pts + R. So, lousy I missed that, but good I didn't go for the offered prop which was 30.5, I think.
Best shot, I see for the next games...........just go with Kobe over 29-30 or so & take your chances. For sure, he will get (take) his shots & as the star he is, refs are going to keep him in there. Next game, man.

TWO UNIT PLAY
Sure, Kobe could single handedly push the Lakers to a Game 7 if he can score 70 points - but the more likely scenario for L.A. to prolong this series is to get back to what helped them establish a 2-0 lead and that is getting their 2nd best player SOME FREAKING TOUCHES. The lack of touches for Gasol has been puzzling as the series shifted to Boston. Yes, give the Celtics some credit for defending Gasol better - but the Lakers seem more responsible for shutting down Gasol by not even looking to their gifting 7 footer. If Phil Jackson is the genius everyone proclaims him to be, even he can't be stupid enough to overlook the direct relationship of the Lakers winning and Gasol playing well. Kobe is going to shoot a lot regardless, but he has to have some help. Pretty simple formula for Gasol in the three games where he beat this number - get shots and get to the free throw line. Right or wrong, going for the gusto. PAU! Right in the kisser.

Can't argue with the reasoning on Gasol. He's pretty much disappeared the last 2-3 games, not only do I like him as a player/threat, but would not be surprised to see him resurface here with a nice game as the series has been littered with player ups & downs.
