look like light rain in new plymouth all day today so they'll prob playin on a wet/damp ground. both teams has decent forward pack. under could be a play but i'll prob jst gonna go for a small play on naki -7.5

One of the teams have talked about playing 80 minutes of attack whereas the shield games are usually more of a grind.

coz if they win this match they can secure the shield for consecutive season and a spot in playoffs. it's kinda an important match for them.
they been consistent on most of the matches this season and played good rugby especially at home.
on the other side waikato been struggling to put up a 80min performance all season long.
i just dun like the fact that its having light rain and -7.5 is outside 1 converted try.

Sorry guys, im in a bit of a hurry but this game looks like an under with terrible conditions tonight (not to mention the shield challenge) and waikato are terrible at scoring points in tight games.

Trust me, this taranaki side is battered & bruised from playing 4 games with very little rest. I cant see much of a fight in the second half, but waikato have scored 2 lucky tries now. Like i said this is going to be incredibly close..
