Hoppertunity Scratched. Supposedly problem with left front foot. Pablo Del Monte draws in if connections do not mind starting from post 20.

Not saying he transfers it to CD but Pablo Del Monte ran huge in the Blue Grass

The top 7 at the finish were 10th-9th-1st(Him)-13th-12th-11th-14th early and it was a dead track that favored closers

If he can replicate his Blue Grass he could be in the mix.

The question is can he do it while rating as I don't think he has a chance to set the pace and can he do it on dirt.That was by far his best race so maybe he loves polytrack.Like you said though at 50-1 there only needs to be a chance

In the fashion of a couple 0.10 Supers I'll be trying.

Key - Danza

2nd & 3rd - Wicked Strong / Wildcat Red / Intense Holiday / California Chrome / Chitu

4th - (2nd & 3rd again with) Samraat / Ride on Curlin / Metal Count / General A Rod

Will it go down this way? Who knows.

no idea...all the places they have 20+ runners(Europe/Australia/etc...) use same color for everyone

Key Danza 1st 2nd and 3rd for the Super with Wildcat, Wicked, Medal, Intense and General. Danza is clearly the horse to beat in the Derby.

He is the horse to beat for several reasons. 1. He crushed a very good field in Arkansas. 2. He has he perfect style for the Derby ... he likes to sit behind the speed and then take off in a sprinters type style. 3. He likes to run by the rail and the 4 post is perfect.... and running by the rail is a good thing ask Calvin. 4. No horse has looked better on the track

How many horses from the SA Derby are in the Kentucky Derby ? How many from the Arkansas..... that is really all you need to know.

I'm with you man, I was leaning to him also as top pick based on his look and works ... but I'm always worried about any single selection with a 20 horse field, especially with a horse as lightly raced as he is.

He's got Pletcher too. I'm not a shill for him, but you can't discount his acumen and success.

Pletcher is 1 for 36 in the Kentucky Derby and quite a few were short prices.

He is a great trainer but he usually burns them out before May.Which is a positive for Danza being he must of had setbacks during the winter so he only raced 4 times.

He does seem to have potential but going from 41-1 in Arkansas to among the 2nd choices in the Kentucky Derby is crazy.

Danza is going around 2 turns for the 2nd time and should improve while doing it.... not to mention he is along the rail and will get a great trip behind the speed. Danza should pull away late for the win.

This year's Derby appears an easier task to find a winner than most renewals. Unfortunately, it will be a short priced favorite, but that's better than tearing up tickets. The selection is California Chrome. This colt has dominated stakes in California with a four race win streak, each one showing improvement in speed ratings and superiority. His latest, the Santa Anita Derby, was the best yet. He broke alertly, raced near the pace, and when asked the question in the stretch, drew out with little apparent effort to win by 4 lengths. It's hard to pick a second amongst the remainder of the field, so deponent will not. A win wager is all that's necessary.

you don't think danza carrying 8 more pounds vs last race just 3 weeks ago wont affect him?

im pretty green at this but I seen danza tiring bigtime from the extra weight. Rest of the field has been carrying 122-124 regularly

I know you are big on Wildcat Red but seems GenArod has been within a head with WR the last 3 Head to head races....seem interchangeable horses

I liked Commanding Curve too. I did a superfecta box with him, California Chrome, Danza, and Ride on Curlin; rather than Wicked Strong. So close, yet so far away.
